Small than described , 17ft boat or less .. the anchor weighs less than the chain and the chain is smaller gauge than described too. Just size up and I’m sure you’ll be happy. I only throw anchor in emergency or when beached and have a stick it for the back. So I’m fine, it holds the 21ft sportsman ok.. I replaced the chain with a bigger longer heavier one and it held in 50ft depth on sandy bottom with a decent rolling 6-9knt current ... show more
