I did not use this rope for the intended purpose. I have used it to make custom length dock lines. This rope worked well for creating eye splices at both ends for use at my permanent dock. Left over line was used to make additional fender lines and dock lines.

    • Soft rope, snags easily, color bleeds!

Rope feels soft and seems to be decent. However the outer braids are easily snagged and collected splinters just from being pulled along my dock. Once on the anchor, the first time it got wet the color bled and turned my white anchor well blue! It seemed to be a first time thing so the second rope I soaked first in a bucket of water and rinsed out the blue color. Laid it on the dock to dry and when I re-coiled it the rope collected splinters from the dock. Seems to be a poorly designed thing for an anchor rope to bleed color when wet! ... show more
