Definitely a good product works as it should it's made for 1 in weights the whole diameter but it also works too with 2-in diameter weights. Only setback is it does not come with any tools so you got to make sure you have the tools on hand to set it up. Other than that it's totally worth the money

Seems pretty sturdy solid metal. Fits a decent amount of plates, I have a couple of 25 lb plates at the bottom. Anything larger though you might have to sacrifice some space. Great for a home gym

BESIDES THAT IN THE BEGINING ITS A SHEER PAIN IN THE NECK TRYING TO PUT THE PARTS TOGETHER AND EVEN HAD TO HAVE MY WIFE KEEP HOLDING THINGS IN PLACE TO PUT THE SCREWS ON BECAUSE ALONE ITS PURE HELL AND THE DIRECTIONS ALSO ARE NOT GREAT ( TRUST ME I HAVE ASSEMBLED ALMOST EVERYTHING BY MYSELF IN MY HOME GYM THROUGH OUT THE YEARS) AND THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST IN THE STARTING POINT BUT AFTER ASSEMBLED IT IS FINE. I HAVE A TOTAL OF 345 LBS 1 INCH STEEL PLATES ON IT AND ITS FINE. THE CUP HOLDER IS A WASTE OF TIME. NO USE!!! The media could not be loaded. Great weight stand. Directions are kinda horrible though. However there's videos on you tube you can see others people putting it together. It's not bad. Took me about 30min by myself. And a ratchet would come in handy.

    • Surprisingly hard to asemble
There's a mismatch between the instructions and the provided hardware. The instructions state you need a #6 hex wrench, but the provided screws don't have hex heads on them. It's very difficult to hold everything together well enough to tighten the nuts with an adjustable wrench. The nuts wound up getting pretty scuffed, so it diminishes the otherwise clean look of the item, and possibly opens them to corrosion. The item looks nice when assembled, and is larger and heavier than I expected (which is a good thing in product like this). Once the arduous process of tightening all the nuts is done, it feels completely solid and sturdy. If the nuts had hex heads as hinted at in the instructions, assembly would have been far, far easier. If not for that, it would have been a 5-star product. ... show more

    • I was skeptical, but it is a great stand. Holds more weights in the same amount of space.
I was really afraid the thin bars that make up this stand would be too flimsy to hold heavier weights. I was very wrong. It's sturdy and holds more weights in the same amount of space as some more expensive racks. I'm so happy with it, I'm buying a second one. My one minor complaint, I wouldn't say it was hard to put together, but it was a tad difficult to keep everything straight when tightening the bolts. I managed by weighing one side down. I'm also a perfectionist, and it probably would have been just fine if the pieces were a hair crooked. ... show more
