I had glasses full of pens and pencils, paper clips, etc. all around my desk (very cluttered). Most of these materials are now collected in one organized, small footprint (vertical real estate). All intersections of the metal framework are tack welded together making for a substantially ridged fabrication. It has a clean refined finished appearance. I went back and looked at the one star reviews which all referred to bent shipping damage which can certainly occur with an item shipped fully assembled. In that it is a fully ridged welded structure, if it was just twisted, it should be possible to simply twist it back into shape. I'm very happy with the finished quality, functionality and small foot print. Good value for the money. I would like to just add a couple of side notes in fairness: if an item comes damaged in shipment, it should not be reflected as poor product quality, be rather on the shipping care and handling; also, if it looked smaller when received, remember to look at the ad first, this item had all of the dimensions displayed clearly in the product images, just to be fair to the manufacturer. There is no assembly required. It is one piece of metal. The craft pens are stored at an angle and there is room for more than 100 pens. It is slim and has a fairly small footprint, so is ideal for a desk or table for crafters.

I ordered this hoping it would have enough space for lots of pens and fine tipped markers, the product is as advertised and works fine, but did not fit my needs. For reference: this photo is the product stocked with 180 gel pens, two small watercolor palettes and the drawer fit about 25 mixed paint brushes. I still have about 200 pens and markers I need to store so I will be returning this to look for something larger. I don't have the space for two, but that may be a good option for someone else.

If you’re on the fence about buying this I recommend that you do it. It’s a little pricey and I try to watch what I spend whenever I can but this is a purchase I will not regret. I needed something to keep my markers in (needs to be where I can find them easily and quickly) for my craft room. This thing holds 213 different kinds of markers! I have 48 brush tips, 29 Stablio marker pens, another 14 brush tips, 18 Sharpies, 24 dual tips, 20 Crayola markers, 19 Paper Mate felt tip pens, and 8 colored pencils. I included the ones that I have in the drawer in my total. These are in the drawer; 6 Zig Chalks, 11 washables, 7 doodle scents, 6 Create metallics and 3 Dotty-Riffics. It’s well made, has no sharp edges or pieces coming loose. The drawer slides out very easily. It’s not in any danger of tipping. It arrived in a box with other items (it was in its own box inside of a larger box) and it arrived with no damage whatsoever. I love it! It’s so worth the money!
