After price, there are really three factors I think about when purchasing a tripod: Portability I like to travel light, whether I’m walking city streets, trekking across the countryside or jetting off to the other side of the world. Conventional full-sized tripods tend to be big, heavy, and unwieldy – so I often leave mine at home, making it completely useless. This tripod is ideal in that it’s not very heavy nor very bulky. It’s actually pretty lightweight. Stability In the past, I have used a couple of other brands but they have often been notorious for being flimsy, relatively unstable, and too small to offer a useful operating height. This tripod will keep your smartphone firm and steady, allowing you to produce videos free of shakes and wobbles, and capture crisp, blur-free images. Adjustability There are numerous really small phone tripods on the market, but the issue is that a lot of them won’t allow you to shoot both horizontally and vertically. This one does and it’s a huge game-changer. I feel sad for all these years without a selfie stick and a tripod. All those lovely memories that were not captured properly because of my extended arm in the frame, or the skills of these people whom I asked to snap a photo !! I'm impressed by the build quality and weight. I thought this would be heavy, or hard to use, but it is not. It may be a bit heavy if you want only selfie stick, but the phone front camera is much inferior than the back camera. You need a tripod if you want to use the back camera ! The tripod is very sturdy. It is made of aluminum, not plastic. It extends to enough to be at eye level. I don't like photos taken from lower levels. It distorts the faces. The Bluetooth remote was very easy to set up on my iPhone. It is is much more practical than the camera timer, specially that I like to take 2-3 shots every time to pick from. I did not use the embedded flash yet, but I can see that it much more powerful than my phone flash I added this stick to my wish list so that could I buy one for my daughter. I was so disappointed when I opened this box. One, it was late. No issues. But then when I opened it, you can clearly see someone used it, had it a while, and missing pieces. Like seriously. I did opt to have a replacement sent. We’ll see if that one comes in new.
