Mic works extremely well, picks up voice and doesn’t pick up background sounds which is very helpful when you have siblings. I plugged it into my pc and have never had an issue with it. Has a mute button which flows red which makes it easy to indicate when it’s picking up sound and when it’s not! It has a hard stand in order for it not to wobble and it does have some weight so that the base doesn’t move! It’s soft and the mic itself does have some good movement for different occasions. I'm coming from the FIFINE K688 and good lord, it's a no brainer. This microphone makes me feel like a professional, hands down. I have no clue how a more expensive mic can improve lol, it sounds so good. I got it and my fiancee had been recording an audiobook on the FIFINE K688 and struggled with it picking up so much other noises, but this one picked up primarily just our voice, like it legit separates your voice from other sounds. It's like noise cancellation but in a microphone and oh my God I love it. She's currently, as I'm writing this review, recording the audiobook as we speak and I'm so glad she got this upgrade. It's saved her so much time with recording and now we don't even have to set up the closet as a studio lol. Check out a sound comparison or sound test if you don't believe it, it's insane, I'm sure there are some on YouTube, I'll put up one if there aren't others. It feels really heavy too, and that's really cool. I was so confused as to why it wouldn't work with my computer at first, but that's just because I'm stupid and didn't realize it has a power button on the back that you have to turn on, so don't forget that lol. Amazing mic though, I'm shocked it's not like $300. I was surprised all these people were getting it free and I was thinking that was a red flag, but nope, they just really want everyone spreading the word of how great it is. I got the MAONO PD200W and it's honestly awsome. It looks super cool with the RGB lights and the sound is crazy clear even when my room isn’t that quiet. I like that I can use it wireless or just plug it in with USB or XLR, so it works with everything. The battery last forever too, I used it like all day and it didn’t die. The MaonoLink app is also really fun to play with, you can change the sound, add some effects and make it how you like. It’s super easy to setup, I didn’t even need to read the whole manual lol. I dont have any others to compare it to but I mean, its great for my first mic. I also bought one fore my coproducer. I have no complaints. I sound very present in my videos. Cant pull it far away from my mouth.. I keep it about 6" lately and its very clear. Its pretty big. I have it on a clamp stand. Theres a mute button and a power button. I use this mic every day in my home office. The wireless setup is fantastic. It allows me to walk around my work area (where I have my standing desk) during my meetings while AI takes notes. High quality, works flawlessly. I also have a USB-C-only Shure MV6 that I use in my office for video meetings. I would say the Shure MV6 sounds slightly better, but this Maono is far more convenient, and the battery charges very quickly. ... show more

I've had it for a few weeks now and I'm impressed with its performance. The sound captured is quality and the audience feedback, from about a foot, has been great. The UI is simple and manageable. The battery life is great, lasts me 2-3 days and charges fast especially when powered down. It readily pairs with my 3 Dells and works with all meeting apps without issue. If you have a background enabled on Teams, Zoom, Meet etc, it remains out of view yet projects very well from 8-12in. It's definitely worth its value. I haven't found a flaw yet.
