The texture is lightweight, absorbs fast, and doesn’t leave my skin greasy, which is a huge plus since I tend to have oily skin, especially around my nose. It also has a subtle, woodsy scent that I personally enjoy - it’s noticeable but not overpowering. I’ve noticed my face feels smoother and a little less shiny throughout the day. My only real complaint is that it doesn’t include SPF, so I still have to add a separate sunscreen if I’m heading out. This moisturizer smells pretty good, my partner says I smell like a forest and I think that's an adequate description of the smell. Also it does work well, my face has been less dry lately. The only con I have for this product is the pump mechanism, each time I have to prime the pump with 1 or 2 pumps before it actually pumps out any moisturizer. I know this brand from different grooming, products, but I didn't know that they made a face moisturizer. I am very impressed with this moisturizer. It has a really lovely light cent, almost like woodsy, but it is certainly not overpowering. Most importantly, though, the weight of the face moisturizer is really great. A lot of times face moisturizer can be greasy or gross to put on, but this is very lightweight and is absorbed very quickly. I have oily skin, especially an oily nose, but this doesn't add to any of that grease and in fact kind of absorbs it a little bit. Got this for my husband. He has combination skin and isn’t great about following a daily skincare routine unless I make it super easy for him. The ingredients are decent for a basic moisturizer and it doesn’t have anything I find concerning. He said it works well and makes his skin feel soft. I removed 2 stars because I wish it had spf included in it for the price point that this sells at and because I don’t love the scent, especially when mixed with other scented items my husband wears. It doesn’t bother him, but he has a much less sensitive nose than I do. Because of the added fragrance and the presence of shea butter (a known trigger product for me), I don’t recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin. ... show more

I'm not one for a regular skincare routine, but I'm wanting to do better and I thought this was a decent way to help my skin in the morning/evening. I was surprised since I noticed after using this, my skin didn't feel dry like it does working out in the heat. Not only that, but it smells pretty great too (a bit like trees and lotion)!     • Hydrating but be aware of the strong scent

I am reviewing the Manscaped skin ultra face moisturizer. As a moisturizer, I found this to be pretty effective for my very dry skin. I also routinely have stubble so I also wanted to make sure that I had a product that I could easily massage through this double so that it would actually get to the skin. As you may know, some products will just get clumped up, especially heavier creams, and then it's kind of hard to tell if you really did a good job hitting all the spots under the beard. This skin ultra face moisturizer was able to hit the skin in my opinion quite well. It also has a really nice scent which smells like trees and woods. I will say that it is a bit strong, at least for me, so if you are sensitive to smells, then I suggest that you use a smaller amount. I suppose if you cover it up with some other products then it may be okay like if you add sunscreen to it. For me, since I did recognize that the smell is pretty strong, although it is quite nice, I just used a smaller amount of the product. I did feel that my face remained more hydrated than it normally does and I also did not have to apply the heavier creams as often as I normally do. ... show more

This product is a nice facial moisturizer. Nothing over the top, and it has a light scent of woodsy fragrance which is nice. It absorbs quickly and feels refreshing and very hydrating on the skin.
