I purchased this cabinet to house an ultra short throw projector. I searched a long time to find something that worked for my needs, as specialty UST cabinets are insanely expensive. This is low to the ground, has a glass top to put a projector underneath, and looks great. Contrary to some of the reviews, it is not difficult to put together. The instructions are only 4 pages with no words, just pictures. It's very straight forward if you've ever put furniture together in your life; dowels, cam nuts, it's like Ikea. I put the entire thing together by myself in 2 hours. Pros: 1. Looks great. I got the black cabinet with white lights and the piece looks phenomenal in my entertainment center. 2. Plenty of storage with 2 large drawers and 2 cabinets. 3. Glass top which makes it an amazing, cheap UST cabinet 4. LED strip is a nice touch Cons: 1. Wasn't designed with cable management in mind. I had to drill two holes in the back of the cabinets and add cable raceways, would have been nice if they were built in 2. Some of the pieces had minor scratches on the edges ... show more

The bad, it’s from China. The directions, you better be handy, there’s no step 1,or step 2,ect, there are small pictures to figure out where parts go, get out the glasses, lots of parts. Put together close to where it goes it’s heavy. Once put together after several hours it looks good and it’s sturdy. Needed for my 85” t.v, I couldn’t mount on the mirrored wall. ... show more

I needed a rather large entertainment console, and this is by far one of the better buys for the price. Warning, it is very heavy and somewhat difficult to move on carpet like I have it, but it's also very sturdy. The glass really adds to the premium feel. I was going to custom make something from IKEA to save on the price, but gave this a shot since they're closed due to COVID, and I couldn't be happier. While the build has a lot of screws and parts, it's not that difficult to assemble if you've ever purchased furniture from IKEA or the like. Just a little time consuming. The only really annoying piece was the drawers attacking to the track. My only complaints are the drawers are a little short. It fits EXACTLY the height of a bluray or DVD and not much more. One of my thicker game cases was too much. The LED light switch also has some loose wires, but that's easy enough to swap out or replace. ... show more

    • Basic design flaws and a nightmare to put together
I really wanted to like this product, especially after taking nearly 8 hours to put it together. The assembly instructions are a nightmare to figure out. But after all of that, there are a few incredibly stupid flaws with this product. First, the the cabinets do not open up unless you open the drawer. There is just not enough clearance for them to open; every time you open a cabinet, you have to open a drawer as well. Second, the drawers do not fully close. From the front view you can’t tell but stand up and completely apparent what is in each drawer. Third, the LED lights do not work. At all. Maybe I’ve got defective ones, but for the price that seems kind of absurd. Additionally, the rail attachments for the drawers are poorly made and do not always fit. I had to make a bigger hole than was in the original design to allow the washer to fit. When you have to make impromptu design changes while building the product, you know it’s poor quality. I’m really unhappy with this product and warn anyone who is considering it to lower their expectations. ... show more

    • Terrible directions
This product took hours to put together because the prepared holes on the base pieces were backwards. If we had followed the directions, the black front would have been in the back. Numerous new holes had to be drilled. The tape lights were messed up too so we will have to buy more. Really nice once we finally got it put together. ... show more

I was really unsure about the quality of this product before buying. It arrived and let me tell you its heavy. Packaging was very well . I opted for the Amazon installation service as the instructions were very vague and would have taken me 5hrs+. It took the technician 2.5 hours to install. It came with LED lights but I opted for my smart lights Phillips Hue outdoor strip fits perfectly in the groove at the bottom. This thing could survive a nuclear blast, its that sturdy.
