I recently used the Auto Body Dent Repair Kit with the Golden Dent Puller on my car, and I’m very happy with the results! This kit is a convenient and affordable way to handle minor dents without needing to visit a repair shop. Pros: • Easy to Use: The instructions were clear, and the setup was pretty simple. As a DIYer, I appreciated how user-friendly it was. • Effective on Small to Medium Dents: For minor to medium dents, the Golden Dent Puller did a fantastic job of popping them out. My car looks much better now, and it saved me a trip to the body shop. • Good Quality Tools: The materials feel durable, especially for a kit at this price. The tools seem like they’ll hold up well for future use. Cons: • Takes Practice for Deep Dents: While the kit is excellent for minor dents, I found that deep dents required multiple attempts and a bit more effort. I had a small dent on my roof after what sounded like a bolder fell from a tree. Not sure if it was a huge pine cone, crab apple, or acorn. There was no scratch in the dent. I bought this knowing it won’t remove the dent 100%. It didn’t remove the dent 100%, but it did remove it at least 92%. This kit exceeded my expectations. I’m very impressed how well this works. I keep my car meticulously clean. So this small dent drove me crazy. I have to actually look for the remaining dent now versus prior it stood out like a sore thumb. Check the photos, I kept the dent in the corner of the American flag reflection so you can see the difference. 10/10 recomend.

They say in the description that it cannot achieve 100% but I thought for sure this could get out a few dents from some hail on my truck. Unfortunately after following the instructions the plastic pieces glued to the dent popped right off like there was no glue at all, leaving glue stuck to the truck for me to get off with the included tools. I wanted this to work but no such luck for me.

The quality of the tools included in this set are excellent. The hammer, the popping tool, the bits, the glue gun, are all decent-to-high quality and they are worth the money you pay for them. However... this is sold as a KIT, and because of that its getting only 3 stars and unfortunately I have to return it because the flaws result in it not working for what its intended for - popping dents from car body panels. First problem... there are no instructions you can easily follow (or follow at all). Included is a pamphlet that is poorly translated from Chinese, but it is of no help as the English-translation wording is often nonsense. It also includes directions for about 4 different pop tools, none of them are exactly the one included in this set. You CAN learn to use this item from youtube videos, but you shouldn't have to turn to the internet for basic product use information. Second, the biggest and FATAL problem for this kit... the glue included is junk. You can't get a proper pop on your dents because the glue is cheap garbage that does not hold on to your car panels. No word in the instructions on which glue to use (gold or black) in which conditions. I tried both of these glues in EVERY condition. Hot room, cold room, in the sun, out of the sun, damp room, dry room, panel cleaned with a cloth, panel cleaned with alcohol, etc, etc. No matter the circumstances, the glue never held strongly enough to get a proper pop. Believe me, I tried every combination of everything, but at no point would this glue hold long enough to get enough torque to pop a dent. The glue either gave way on the car, or (more often) gave way on the bit it was applied to. Sure, the glue is SUPPOSED to give, but not until it holds enough to (at least somewhat) pop the dent. I know to get a dent out you must use this kit a bunch of times to do the job... but I popped the same tiny dent on my door over 20 times, and it is no better than it was before. In fact the constant application and removal of the glue has dulled my finish in that spot to a degree.... I'm going to have to buff out the panel because having to apply and remove the glue so many times has hurt the finish. So if you're willing to go out and find and buy a body glue that actually holds, I'm sure this kit will work for you. But I bought this set as an all-in-one kit, I don't want to have to go find and buy more glue, and if the chief catalyst in this set (the glue) is garbage, the value of the whole set falls apart. I will be returning this set unfortunately because the glue just does not do its job, making the whole set kind of useless.

While your get a lot of accessories with the kit, it has clear instructions and is simple and straightforward, the end result is not there if you are not working on anything but very thin piece of metal. My experience with this tool, it would not pull a dent where the body panel by a ridge line or near a part of the body panel that required some force. The glue adhered well to the body, but came off repeatedly from the plastic pulling tabs with any kind of force. It did not matter what glue stick or type of pulling tab was used. I was hopeful this would work, but it did not for me.
