I bought this as a sorta portable studio backpack for my video cameras and accessories and it did not disappoint. It fits a lot of stuff in there with all the various pockets and pouches and it is a very comfortable backpack to wear. I love that it has the option to hook up a power bank inside the bag to an exterior usb plug. The amount of things I fit in this bag is seriously impressive. The laptop area fits on the back side so it gives it some rigidity when wearing the bag. I can still access the laptop without having to take everything out of the bag as well. The quality of the bag is very good. It almost feels like a sorta denim material but seems extremely durable. The zippers all high quality as well and seem like they will last a very long time. The one thing I dislike about the bag is the side pouches on either side of the bag. I think typically they would be used for holding a water bottle or something like that. I use them to hold my tripod and extension arms. The issue I have is that the straps that are there to secure down the items are sorta just for show. They aren't very functional. You tighten them up and they immediately go loose with any amount of pressure on them. It still works for me to hold the items I need but I was hoping that it would secure them just a little better. Outside of that I am very happy with the bag and would buy this again in the future. Highly recommend.

I purchased this backpack only because a different model I wanted was sold out, and wasnt coming back into stock anytime soon. I cancelled the order, and was hesitant, but I liked how this bag looked, so i went for it. So happy I did. I had two backpacks before this, a small VANS bag with no pockets, and a bulky swiss gear with tons of compartments. I loved how the vans was small, and loved how the swiss had pockets, but this backpack is perfect. It's seriously the best of both worlds. It's a perfect size to hold things, but not so huge that its obnoxious to tote around. The front slanted pocket is perfect for quick finds like my gloves/ID for work, and the inside pockets are what I use for my wallet/phone. The included lock is meh, but it didnt really matter as I had bag locks anyway. The material feels strong and well made, and the zippers caught my attention. They're solid and wont break anytime soon. The side pouches are a nice touch for waters/things you need right away. It's stylish, functional, and despite having it for only a week, im in love with it. My only gripe with this bag is sometimes when you sling it over your shoulder, the straps adjust themselves/fall out of where you had them. It's a little annoying, but you learn how to avoid it. A perfect product that I would buy again. The included USB port for charging is such a nice touch that I didnt know I needed until I had it. I pair it with my cocoon grid it organizer and its perfect. Even full its bot heavy. Awesome awesome awesome bag!!

This backpack would make a great gift all year round! The water does bead-up when it gets on the fabric and you can simply shake it off once you're indoors. It's kept my MacBook and other paper documents dry on rainy days. I think the fabric can also be treated with waterproof sprays (that you would use for technical waterproof jackets) to retain its water repellency. I also love how there are adjustable straps to adjust the thickness of the backpack, which is great for packed trains/buses. There's also a velcro strap in the main compartment to adjust the fit for your laptop as well. I keep my 13 in. MacBook in a case and even with the case, it fits snugly with room to expand if-need-be. 15 in. laptops should fit with no problems, even with its own cases as well. The charging port works great as well. There's an inner pocket as well as a zippered pocket designed near the cable port/outlet that's inside the main compartment which can hold your power bank and any cables you might have, so it won't get tangled up with the other stuff you have in the backpack. The side pocket is also big enough to hold a water bottle snugly and can expand to hold tumblers as well. The second main compartment is a great stationary organizer, with multiple pockets and pen holders. I bought this color in black and it came as more of a dark, dark, heather-gray black, as some of the other reviews mentioned. This actually looks better in my opinion as it doesn't contrast with the zippers as much and gives it a more distinguished high-quality look. The bookback is also very comfortable with a padded back and padded shoulder straps. They really thought of everything in its design. You can feel how balanced it is when you wear it and there's zero-to-minimal shifting of your belongings inside the backpack as you move. Great product, Maxibox. I would recommend possibly offering more colors if the product continues to sell and maybe even an alternative for buyers where they can choose which side the zippers for the small, slanted zipper compartment on the top of the backpack is placed.
