Description

How to tell if the ice maker is working? When the "Ice Making" light is on, the machine starts. The display first counts up in seconds (0-59), then in minutes (1-7), and finally counts down minutes (time varies with settings). How do I adjust the ice thickness? Use the "+" and "-" buttons. "-5" decreases ice-making time by 5 minutes for thinner ice, while "5" increases it by 5 minutes for thicker ice. What types of water supply methods does the ice maker support? It is compatible with faucets featuring a 1/2" female thread connection. What should I do if the "Ice Making" light is flashing and the machine has stopped working? Gently press the white baffle to make the machine recognize that an ice drop has been completed, which will restart the operation. Should the protective film on the machine be removed? Yes, it should be removed. The film is only intended to prevent scratches during transportation. Removing it improves the appearance and allows for better heat dissipation. First the bad (ish): The design of the ice maker makes the 33 lbs claim dubious, as the ice quickly gets to a level that trips the "full" sensor, but a bit over 20 lbs is definitely stored regularly, as two 10-12 pound bags can be filled without fully emptying the bin. The hook for the scoop is useless, as it'll quickly get trapped/stuck by ice as it's being dispensed (the "nook" in the front of the machine in front of the water reservoir is a far better location to keep the scoop). But this machine can definitely churn out a LOT of ice. I have no doubt it can produce 100 lbs daily, perhaps more, as it refills really quickly after scooping out a large quantity. The inside light is great (mine is on a screened patio, so finding and using it in the dark is effortless) and the included metal scoop is a big plus over the last similar machine I had. Then the very good: My machine was literally dropped on my front sidewalk by FedEx when it was delivered. The company was absolutely wonderfully responsive to "make it right" and I know they would have facilitated a return had the damage been more than cosmetic. As it turns out, I have a fully functional machine and a lot of respect for the customer service department. Very little noise, the ice cubes are just the right size, it makes ice really fast, and the temperature stays great - it's absolutely reliable. Great for both home use and restaurants. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends who own restaurants - totally worth the money

This isn't a bad machine for the price. The lid is very cheaply made and sticks when you to open it. The opening is small and hard to crush the ice inside the machine. It does do the job though, depending on how much you use it.
