I have a 7 month old mini goldendoodle who’s obsessed with chewing and destroying all his toys. After many plushies I decided to switch to ropes and more “durable” toys for him. I bought him 2 previous ropes which he unraveled and threaded in about 4 days. Then I found this one and it has exceeded all my expectations! This rope has gotten chewed, gnawed, thrown, tossed, tugged and pulled for about 2 weeks straight and it doesn’t even show one thread of fraying. I signed up for a subscription thinking he would destroy them quickly but now have to cancel it since this rope has held up beyond anything I’ve ever bought.     • Safe, sturdy tug toy that's not made in China
Size: Large 25" Style: 3 Knot Rope Tug
So many products come from China these days and it's potentially dangerous (for both humans & animals) considering the poor quality control/chemicals added to everything that comes from there. I always check on where a toy is made before buying it for my pups. I'm also careful to buy 100% cotton rope toys, since a lot of them use nylon or other fabrics that could be harmful to my dog if swallowed by accident (or for potentially cutting his gums while tugging, etc.). This Mammoth cotton rope tug toy has been fantastic! My Alaskan Malamute is a huge tugger who really puts a lot of muscle into his tugging game :) so we're tough on this toy. We use it as intended--only for playing interactive games of tug together, not just given to him to chew on--and it's lasted a couple of years. It's still intact but getting pretty raggedy so I'll need to replace it. So glad I can still get the same product to replace the old one. My dog will be thrilled to start tugging with the new rope toy! ... show more

I bought this as a cheap toy that I knew my fur babies were going to tear up. I got this for my puppies when they were about 8 weeks for something to entertain them. Now I didn't expect much for what I paid for it, but it stood up to my gsd puppies. My husband's chihuahua was the death of the toy finally, but the pups had it for a few weeks before the piranha got it. Lol. ... show more

My lab puppy has been playing with this toy for the past 3 months, and it's held up really well compared to his other fabric toys. As a whole, the rope and its knots have stayed in place and haven't unraveled; though my puppy does rip up some strings, and some loose strings will fly off the rope when swinging it around. However, I do regret making the purchase, as I learned how to easily make rope toys my puppy enjoyed more from old, cotton t-shirts (just look up some YouTube tutorials). ... show more
