He used it for a while to sleep on (and could really lounge when he did!), but then curled up next to me just fine so I passed it to my 10 year old who used it for half of the flight. I was surprised how much he could stretch out on it, so I was happy to have brought it! I did wind up taking it for a bit because I like to have my legs up 10 or so inches during flights so I deflated it down and used it myself. I initially purchased this for my child during a long flight (6+ hours) so that they’d be able to sleep. This product really helped them feel more comfortable during the flight. I now primarily use it for long car rides. It’s very easy to inflate. These were great on a long haul flight with the kids. Night and day vs our experience not having them. They are easy to inflate. Hard to deflate into enough of a compact enough size to fit into the small bag that comes with it (but doable).

I am very happy with this product. I use it for long trips my husband and I take in a sedan. When you put the passenger seat all the way back, this foot rest sits very nicely in the foot well, allowing me to put my feet up during the trip. I think this is a genius product. Love it!!!!

We inflated them on hour 11 hour flight and got to use them for 30 mins before the flight staff told us we can't use them anymore... however my kids got to nap for those 30 mins comfortably. I wish they would have let us use them more because they would have saved us a lot of trouble.
