I used this product on a pair of wedge heels that slide off my heels. As a heel cushion, it's a great product, if you don't want something that takes much space. I needed more space filled in, so I layered two of them. They held up well. I wanted some cushion in smaller parts of the shoe as well, so I cut cushion size to fit. That was a mistake. I've bought other heel liners from Amazon before where the thickest part of the cushion is not at the top of the piece/where you'd apply it to the top of the heel of the shoe, and still dealt with irritation to my heel as such in some shoes. These are great. I tore off the old liners and walked around in these (adhesion is WAY stronger than on the alternates) with zero pain or discomfort to the existing blister I have on my heel from the other cushions! ... show more

Although these Makryn Premium Heel Grips Liners are meant to be used in the back of the shoe's heel, I used them on the top of the bridge area in my Crocs. I looked everywhere for inserts designed for the bridge of the foot, but could not find anything. I had even considered using some door & window weatherstripping to take up the extra room that cause these sandals to flop around. Then I came across these and they looked like they'd work. There were helpful pictures that gave overall dimensions, so I went for it. They fit perfectly and had extremely good adhesive. No more uncomfortable flopping! Thank you Makryn! ... show more

I have a couple of issues that make shoe shopping difficult. Many pairs of shoes fit my left foot well, but my right foot is 1/2 size larger. In addition, my 2nd toes are longer than the big toes, so shoes with pointed toes don't work for me. These heel pads are helping with the sizing issue for me. They are soft, just the right amount of puffy, and the adhesion seems to be good, so far. Did I mention that the price is right? And delivery very prompt? What's not to like? ... show more

As an avid outdoor enthusiast, and also living in a city where it is quite rainy/there's quite a bit of elevation changes with tile/stone walkways which can be slippery when it rains, for general commuting I've always preferred to wear trail running shoes for the additional grip in wet conditions. After a camping trip to Banff a few years ago, I fell in love with the Aasics Venture Gel series of shoes for their incredible value and comfort compared to competitors for general walking use on and off-road. The one issue I've had with this shoe, as great as it has been (I've used version 5 through 7 at this point) I've always found the material at the heel/back of the shoe tends to wear away much faster than other shoes I've worn before.... I've tried to cut moleskin to cover the heel section to help the shoes last longer and, partially since moleskin tends to be a beige colour and is very weird looking on a darker shoe, I've been looking for a darker (preferably black or dark grey) cushion/protector to help avoid wearing away the heel too quickly while also adding addition cushions and comfort. The Makryn Premium Heel Grips Liner has been exactly what I have been looking for. Not only is it exactly the correct size and shape (a hassle when trying to cut/position the Moleskin) but the black colour blends perfectly with my current shoe and I am confident it will help extend the comfort and longevity of my current pair of Venture 7 Gel, and the fact that it comes as a multi-pack definitely adds to the value and adds piece of mind in the unlikely event I need to re-install them. I recently bought a new pain of house shoes. Unless you buy a very expensive pair, they only come in very other size. My size is 13 and has been for years. However, my choice was 11/12 or 13/14. I knew the 11/12 were not going to fit, I opted for the 13/14. Once I got them home, I was sorry I bought the house shoes. They slid up and down off my heel with every step...so annoying. I decided to put three or four layers of duct in the back of the heel. My wife suggested I check Amazon to see if there was another option. Thankfully there was, but I was skeptical. The bloodstains on the back of my Converse will attest to the heel pain of not having proper cushion/protection during this event (I didn't know any better last year). However these wonderful cushions made me feel like I was wearing clouds for shoes. The adhesive didn't budge until it was time to take them off and they withstood friction from my shoes over thousands of steps each day.
