Description

The 18V LXT® Cordless 3/8" / 1/4" Sq. Drive Ratchet (XRW01Z, tool only) is designed to loosen nuts and take the nut off the bolt. This ratchet features interchangeable 3/8” and ¼” anvils for versatility. The powerful Makita-built motor delivers 35 ft. lbs. of Max Torque and has a variable speed (0-800 RPM) for a wide range of fastening applications. An electric brake provides increased productivity. Operator fatigue is reduced due to the lightweight, ergonomic design. The low-profile design provides improved handling in tight spaces and for overhead applications.A built-in L.E.D. light illuminates the work area. When the motor is not engaged, the ratchet can be used manually. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita® 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls™. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. • Outstanding Makita Cordless Ratchet!
Style: Ratchet
Another excellent addition to my Makita LXT 18v tool collection. I used this as recently as yesterday to mount my mailbox and do some winterizing of summer furniture. It is very convenient to have this high-quality cordless tool at hand. It compliments my Makita HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  • Works great after loosened
Style: Ratchet
This will work great to install and remove after you get the nut initially broke free. It will also work as a manual wrench with the motor off which is what you have to do when the bolt torque is over 20-30 ft-lbs. If you need to break a nut loose then use a an impact wrench, not this. If you need to tightened the nut at the end, use a torque wrench, not this. It only speeds up the install and remove steps for loose nuts. It was great in a tight access location where the ratchet was only making one or two clicks per cycle and was taking forever, but this did the job quickly. ... show more

  • YOU MUST BUY
Style: Ratchet
Why in the heck did I go for so many years without buying it? Strong & quiet. My neighbors are probably so happy that they no longer have to hear the annoying ratcheting sound. It makes work, very fast & efficient, getting into tight places especially with a flex swing extension. The 1 negative thing that I noticed, is that if the ratchet is not held straight with the bolt or screw being removed, it won't remove them. Instead, it will have a response similar to the nut or bolt being on too right. This is the case, especially when using extensions. By the way, I'm not sure if the size of the battery is important. I try to use the 5.0 battery for working on car mechanic work. Also for my impact gun. For my drill, the 2.0 battery is good enough. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Style: Ratchet
Spendy for a rachet, but worth the time and muscle saver! Genuine Makita, hesitate to spend money that will sit around most the time when I already have full set of rachets, but this tool made bolt removal and install a breeze. Not a lot of torque ugga dugga to tighten down, but plenty enough to get it tight to hand tighten. As review states you can use as a regular rachet but takes some practice. Only flaw is the switch on top to reverse direction can sometimes get knocked loose and will spin freely. Highly recommend to anyone getting too old to feel the aches of wrenching! ... show more

  • Garbage.
Style: Ratchet
POS. Used it twice. The selector for forward and backward completely broke off. Never dropped it or used it incorrectly. MAKITA SUCKS ASS. I’m tired of their stuff breaking.
