  • Does everything it is supposed to do.
Style: Nailer
Good tool, easy to use, well balanced. Coming in at just over 8 lbs it sounds heavy but it is so well balanced it feels lighter than that. Aluminum nail tube is light and strong, the air chuck is offset to keep the air hose off to the side and out of your way. Heavy duty metal belt clip is reversible for left or correct handed users. I fired over 1,000 nails with ZERO issues. Keyless depth adjustment is nice also. Stop scrolling and buy this framing nailer. ... show more

  • Does the job
Style: Nailer
The Makita AN924 is a solidly built pneumatic framing nailer that is easy to set up and use. It is light and well balanced. I find that it significantly speeds up the framing process. I use this nailer with a safety coupler on the hose that allows me to disconnect the air supply from the tool while keeping the hose attached. This prevents the possibility of an accidental firing of the tool. ... show more

  • A Great Value, When Purchased
Style: Nailer
I purchased this nailer for <$150, it is close to $200 now (at the time of review). Had it not been a Makita, I would have been more “leary” of buying a nailer at the price I bought it for. It is probably average in weight for a framing nailer and easy adjustment for depth. So far, I’ve driven about 2k nails with it and it has worked well. It works better if you don’t let the strip of nails get too short, maybe 10 -15 nails, before loading another strip (on top of the strip in use). I’d buy again at the sub $150 price; at $200 I might look around. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase. I’ve used it for fencing boards, and not framing. ... show more
