This was a birthday gift for my skin-care obsessed 12-year old. We were able to assemble in about 3 hours over the course of a day between other activities. The directions are as expected, all parts accounted for, all holes drilled properly. As others have stated, having an electric drill will save you lots of time. The drawers and doors fit well, no issues. There is plenty of space for all her skin care and accessories and then some. As others noted, the external bulbs on the mirror are a bit underwhelming and unsightly, but the wire is adjustable between bulbs and we have not had any problems with the bulbs detaching from the mirror so far so it’s fine for a teen. The vanity itself is real nice took awhile to put together but not to hard to put together Its sturdy and very pretty the only thing that we don't like is the lights just stick to the mirror and they do fall off rime to time and the wire makes it look not as pretty but still like it. Ordered this for my daughter to replace a vanity and computer desk so she could have more space in her room. I Love this and she loves it. She now has plenty of floor space for sleepovers and this was a big hit with all her friends as well. They spent the whole night doing their hair n makeup and dressing up n etc. Another plus to this set is the cabinets n shelves which now hold all her books and are neatly stored off floor n everywhere else. My only dislike to this set is it dents n Knicks very easily as I noticed a few spots when it arrived very small but noticeable considering it's black n pressed wood underneath and while putting in one screw my screw slipped out of predrilled screw hole which chipped a piece away very easily but thankfully it was inside cabinet area of desk but I was very careful putting the rest together though. Lots of pieces which we didn't mind had fun doing it together and it made it more rewarding for her. I know she'll appreciate it more being that she knows what it took to put it all together. I personally think most children nowadays feel entitled to things they didn't earn or work for which is not a good thing simply cause they don't appreciate it. they don't know the hard work and time put into it. to earn something they built or made. such gifts mean more. They're more rewarding in the end and they tend to take better care of it considering how hard n long they worked on it. Anyways yesssssss an amazing purchase she's very pleased with it. lights are bright, plenty of storage for all her makeup n books n etc n even hideaway inside stool which she loves also. it's perfect height and has a very soft nice cushion on it so no sore booty after sitting getting your hair done for an hour lol but all in all great purchase. ... show more

I love this vanity. It is so beautiful and classy. I do wish the bottom shelves were a bit taller but other than that very pretty. Also be careful when screwing things together. The inside corner of one drawer chipped easily. Not enough damage to return the desk tho. Very beautiful!

Just bought this vanity & finally finished putting it together (be aware it came in like zillion different pieces which took about 8-10hrs to put together w/ 2 people). I want to note that there were quite a few manufacturer flaws on many different pieces of the white material; such a peeling, cracking & scratches (some scratches seemed if they tried to cover up a portion w/ different stickers). •The light bulbs string of lights is way too long to fit this mirror, so unable to use the lights!! This is extremely frustrating!! Followed the instructions on last pages of manual & still wires are too long to fit the a lot smaller mirror. (Wishing I chose the lights in the mirror now) •1 drawer came w/ peeling & doesn’t open correctly & screw holes started off too big; so screw couldn’t be used there. When opened, drawer gets stuck about 1/2 way & won’t pull out as the other drawer does •Very noticeable gap on the other cabinet (top portion of cabinet - see picture) the materials don’t match the other cabinets materials. It was sent w/ Slightly incorrect measurements it seems •Item G (Front Baffle) which is in the dead center of bottom came w/ white peeling away from wood-like material. It will continue to peel away & get bigger. Makes it look ugly & old & this is DAY 1 •Item E came w/ a small scratch that was partially being concealed under “E” sticker. •top of stool came w/ loose stitching & fold is not natural on corner (horrible design flaw & seems it will fall apart very quickly) •Lastly, mirror cane w/ what seems to be stretches on right side (windex won’t get them off) Nice design, but made from super cheap materials & paid close to $300 for this piece of crap 😔, which is surprising from all the good reviews we found online for this item. Buyers be aware…. Hopefully, they all aren’t shipped this way! I would like to mention it came super early & was shipped within 24hrs & received quickly; although that’s just about the only positive thing I have to add about this product unfortunately. Not happy w/ purchase & hope I can get replacement parts for these flawed pieces. But to take this apart & re-do seems like a nightmare in itself. 😩 ... show more

I looked at so many different vanities to purchase and this one stood out the most to me! It is incredibly sturdy and affordable. The added plug outlets and lights make it complete! It was hard to put together, but definitely worth it.
