I read all the reviews. Saw all the problems people were having and I set us up to fix it right away. Our 10yo daughter and I put this together in 3 evenings totaling about 5 hours. Hubby offered to help but we declined. 1st. The mirror issues. I spent and extra $4 on mirror clips and screwed them along the edges. If the adhesive doesn't hold, the clips will catch the mirror. 2nd. If you aren't used to putting together this kind of item, yeah it could be confusing. I personally buy 3d puzzles for fun so this was easy. 3rd. Time consuming. The number of tiny screws involved is daunting. Everything is marked and labeled well but still takes forever because of the drawer tracks. 4th. This vanity is solid. After you screw each section together there is zero wobble. I weigh 140lbs and sat on one of the drawer sections. 5th. The bench seat is garbage. I'll be upgrading her seat. It looks padded but it's still not comfy. It will make a great step stool. 6th. Those lights. OMG those lights are horrific. I hate seeing the wires. The lights hum when on high. They have to go. For now the white wires are covered in black electrical tape and she is dealing with the sound. I'll replace the lights asap before the stool. I'm giving it 5 stars because the problems I have with it are minor and personal preference and someone else may not be bothered. I'm glad I took the chance. Not gonna lie, it's more money than I wanted to risk but it's the one she wanted. And I was pretty sure the hubby could fix any major problems we may find. Thankfully we didn't need his handyman skills.

HORRIBLE. I hate this vanity so much! Nothing of this is giving cute. Horrible. Too much work. Drawers dont even fit right. Im so annoyed. What's even worse is that it took HOURS to build for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Just a waste of time and waste of money!

Took forever to assemble. My two dads and I put two of these together simultaneously. Soooo many parts and you definetly have to give attention to detail in this project. It's a really nice piece of hardware but you make up for the price by labor. *assemble to cabinet fixture prior to fixing it to the vanity, otherwise you'll have a time trying to install it while mounted.

The vanity is great and easy to put together, but be warned, it will take a while to put together. DO not overuse the drill; be very gentle. This does have a lot of components to put together- you will be building every aspect of this. The lights, be careful how you decide to stick them to the mirror- the string part of the lights is longer while the mirror is not that big and I had to wrap around the string as best as I could but I warn do this before you stick them because the 3m stick on tape is strong. One of the front drawers is wonky, but it's closeable- maybe this is because of the very tight fit against the wall and bed. I'm planning on giving this to my toddler for her room once she has her own room- not really a "grown up" vanity, but it's useful for the time being.
