Ok - So.... I never expected to be reviewing a washcloth, but using this one has been such a pleasure I wanted to share my experience. I wear sunscreen, face and eye makeup every day. I do the standard recommended 2-step removal every night with a balm or oil, followed by a facial cleanser even though I'm "lazy" and don't like having to do two steps to clean my face. When I started using this cloth I actually didn't realize it is a "makeup removal cloth" - I just liked it's size. It seemed more efficient than using a bigger-than-needed facecloth. In using it I came to realize - I could feel it and see it - that it was taking off a lot of makeup; makeup I thought was already gone. Oh my gosh these are soft! I don't know how they can clean the makeup and lotions off my face so well when they are so soft, but they do. My face feels amazing, and I look forward to using them. They come with a little mesh bag for the washing machine--it makes it easy to find and pull them out of the load. I think the care instructions said ok to put in dryer, but I prefer to just hang them to dry using the little loop on the corner. I have a small hanger that hinges that holds them perfectly (I think it was from socks or gloves). Every time I do a load of laundry I just toss the mesh bag in with a couple of these in it. This was good for traveling! I use it to remove even my waterproof mascara with just water. When I travel, I just bring 1 and I clean it between with just soap as it dries fast. You can also put your regular facewash on it, but it's not really needed to clean your makeup off.

These do exactly what they say they will! I don't have to rub my skin raw to get even stubborn eye makeup off, and everything comes off the towel in the wash. I've got 2 sets I've had for several years and they still look great! I take them with me when I travel as well.

I've used regular cotton wash cloths for removing makeup for years and they didn't clean as well. I would have to use a toner to remove the makeup the cloth left behind. The first time I tried these I was amazed with how much makeup was on the cloth. It removed everything including mascara. I used plain water and it did great. You can use face cleanser and it works well. I really like the soft microfiber that is gentle on your face and your face feels clean not tight and dry. Great price for 12 cloths! They are washable.
