    • Thicker printer paper. Stick to dry media.
The paper is very smooth. It is like thin bristol or thicker printer paper. Expect smudging. Marker pens don't bleed through for notes but if you were using them to color in, or went over the line 2x or 3x, it would. I wouldn't use any wet media on this that isn't just to line. I feel it would bleed or bubble. Colors show up nice. I got this to use as a notebook; for that, it's decent. As a sketchbook, I would stick to dry media like pencils or ballpoint pens. You could use charcoal, but the paper doesn't have any grip so idk how ideal that would be for you. These are not bad, however, I would not classify them as mixed media (which is what I searched for when I found these). I wouldn't mind getting these again as notebooks/doodle books. I would get something else as a sketchbook. Don't get the cover or backing wet or it will bubble. ... show more
