So, on the advice of a fellow artist, I purchased these brushes to use for painting with acrylics. These brushes exceeded my expectations by far. The handles are so lovely I am almost hesitant to use them, thinking instead they belong on display in an elegant boudoir. Nonetheless, the bristles are exactly what I needed for some landscape detailing and therefore they will join the many dozens of paintbrushes in my studio. The bristles are soft and fluffy, and do not appear prone to shedding. Whether for art or makeup, I recommend these lovely brushes highly!

The brush handles are very pretty, but the brushes themselves are rather flimsy. When applying makeup, they are too bendy and hard to work with. I've used other brushes with much better results. They are very pretty and OK for everyday use, but I would recommend a better set for more professional results.

I didn’t use them yet, but I just received them and they are SO BEAUTIFUL!! And really soft!! I was nervous but they turned out really good in good condition! Like I said, I haven’t used them to see how well the bristles blend and if they don’t fall out, so I can’t say on that yet but so far I love them!
