We bought this as a gift for our 5 year old son. He loves to build and create and I thought it likely the perfect fit. It was a hit! As soon as he opened it he was busily sawing, poking, and building. His teenaged brother joined in and his little brother too (with a little more supervision). Then one of his sisters came to try.
