Ordered this for our 7 year old daughter for Halloween. She is very much in love with Capybaras at the moment and seems like there are only these type of inflatable costume for kids, pajama onesies or the full costume inflatables. She liked this one the best and based off of other’s reviews and the price range we went for it. It arrived nicely packaged with easy to understand instructions. My daughter is on the petite side body shape wise-she’s lean and athletically built. She’s about 50 lbs and around 47” tall. This was a good fit for her with plenty of room to grow into. The waist is VERY adjustable and even pulling it to the tightest often had it sliding down with the battery pack tucked into her pants VS the slot it fits into on the costume. If you have a smaller kiddo (height wise) you’ll have to make sure you hike the waist up a bit in the back so the legs don’t drag the ground. However, it’s easy to get on nice you get the hang of it and she had so much fun at our Trunk or Treat. We are using it again this weekend, camping and then she’ll wear it again on Halloween. My 7 year old caught on to the capybara "rage" so anything relating to a capybara was exciting for him. So I had to get this costume for him to wear this year! The costume inflates quickly and seems to stay inflated well even with so much movement thanks to the drawstring waist band. The only issue or concern I have with him walking around in it is the back feet. The material isn't necessarily paper thin, but the feet are going to drag along the ground when he wears in, especially when he's trick or treating. So I plan on figuring out a way to reinforce the back feet bottoms so they don't wear out and start ripping or getting holes in them as they drag behind him. ... show more

Bought this for my son and everyone loved his costume! My son is about 50” tall and the length was just right for him. He wore this 5 times during the Halloween season between different parties, a costume parade, and trick or treating and the material held up really well. The best advice I can give for these types of costumes is to clip the battery pack to your pants! For half the time we had it in the pocket it was made for, but eventually figured out it was weighing the blow up costume down. So we finally clipped it to my son's shorts and realized we should have done that from the start. Overall the costume was a hit. It was easy to put on and take off. The comfort was a bit annoying of the windbreaker pants sound that my son wasn't used to. It wasn't too hot to be in, why he wore shorts. The quality was good. The fit was perfect.
