Let me start by saying that I have zero nail skills... Like I can't even apply nail polish without it looking a mess. I can just barely manage to apply the stick-on nail polish "stickers". But I bought this product and suddenly, it's like I'm a master manicurist or something... And with zero stress, no mess, super fast & easy... Mind blown! I hadn't bothered with manicures for years, but lately my nails became very thin and weak from a medical condition and they were breaking and splitting in the worst way. I was looking for a DIY solution to build them up and reinforce them and came across all these polygel videos that you've definitely seen all over IG. They make it look so easy, like squeeze this tube on your nail and abracadabra... LIES! I did so much research, watched a million tutorials, bought different products, tried different techniques (dual forms, soft gel covers, etc.)... So much money and time and effort and sticky messes everywhere... one disaster after another. But something possessed me to buy this product too, even though it's the only one that I DIDN'T see in any online videos. It was the last thing I tried when I was about to give up and just go to a salon, and just like that, the clouds parted and the angels sang... This is exactly what I was looking for! I will never understand why the Internet is obsessed with this misleading polygel tube videos when this product is the actual real deal, with endless possibilities! I still did the same full prep (cuticle remover/scratch up the nail with a file/dehydrator/primer/base coat). Then I used those gold sticker nail forms, only because my nails are so short & broken, and the forms protected my nailed so I didn't cure any gel on the skin. I brushed this stuff on, cured and put the top coat, and VOILA! Instant perfection! Beautiful, perfect, shiny nails! No shaping required, just instant perfection! And so strong, it didn't chip or break or peel ever (I'm talking WEEKS). It only came off when I decided to take it off, which I did because I was excited about the product and the possibilities and how easy it was, so I wanted to try something different and fancier... So for my second application, I actually got a little adventurous... I didn't just coat my nails, I spread the gel out onto the nail form stickers to build myself some nice normal length nails instead of my little stubs. Instant & effortless success! I wish I took a before picture, it would blow your mind! Then I applied nail polish "stickers" and decals on top of the cured gel, then did another very thin layer of gel over the polish, and top coat. It looks like a million bucks! A professional manicure, with perfect polish, encased in epoxy and essentially indestructible! I cannot emphasize this enough: I SUCK AT NAILS AND HATE DOING THEM. I was driven to try these things out of necessity, but OMG now I'm obsessed with this product! Even if/when my natural nails get back to normal, I will never stop using this product and I will never go back to a salon. This review might sound a little dramatic for a nail product, but I can't tell you how much I was suffering with my nails splitting and breaking, and how much of a difference it has made to find a solution that actually works and lasts and is affordable and DIY. I don't even have to worry about my weak splitting nails ever again. It's kinda life-changing for me. Give this product all the stars!!!!

I love Markartt’s 3D gel. It’s easy to work with and it also sticks pretty well. I will say, make sure your room isn’t too hot/warm, or you will see a difference in the consistency. Keep your room at a decent cool temperature and you will be able to work wonders with this 3D gel. Will definitely be purchasing again, but in white, once I run out.

I had acrylic nails for five years and took a break. Not really wanting to go back to appointments having to sit there. I saw YouTube video about this product and thought that would be perfect. I bought the set that included the LED light which actually does CURE the product and the LED nail polishes. I was very happy with that because I had bought a bigger unit that didn’t seem to work, so I was a little nervous The material is very hard in the jar. I just took out the tiniest bit of the clear and warmed it in my palm and then applied it to my nail and pressed it out. It’s very important. To use BASECOAT, otherwise your new nail just pops off. If that does happen to you just use the LED BASECOAT to glue the nail back on it with the LED light. Make sure you get enough to coat the inside of the nail and the new fingernail, wipe up the excess and cure it. A couple things about the basecoat. It’s it cures sticky, so it is not the same as the topcoat. The acrylic nail set that came with the kit covers your whole nail bed. It’s not extensions and then you apply this product over the top. It’s a different way to do your nails and I didn’t use those. I did try to use them for shaping. But the tool that comes with a kit works a lot better. Keep your start thin. I did get a couple nails too thick. It’s difficult to file down. So I started putting it on really thin. And building to get the shape I was happy with. I decided to start out a little bit shorter than I initially thought. It just didn’t look right, because I went from not having nails for a long time to doing this. The product is a little difficult to create an extension out of because if you place something to hold it while you press it out it and then when you take that away it it sticks to it, so go slow, take your time build up the nail the way you want it super thin and make sure you do your BASECOAT first. The file that comes with the set is ROUGH & curved and it works well. You can shape this product. I did buy an electric drill style file machine from Amazon(I recommend this, because it’s affordable and saved my nail experience): Electric Nail Drill, Urbuti 35000RPM Professional Nail Drill Machine, Portable Rechargeable File Machine Set for Acrylic Gel Nails, Manicure Pedicure Tools for Home and Salon Use(White) Also, if you don’t have any nail buffers at home, you might want to get some, because when you file it is rough and finish needs to be smooth. It the kit comes with the coarse nail file and the two shaping tools. A silicone paddle one that’s good for like creating crisp edges at your cuticles and you probably could use it under the nail to get a clean edge but it didn’t really work for me. That way I just used it on the cuticle edge. Take your time to do this it took me a couple days because I had to order the shaping machine and keep your nails thin, because you won’t be happy if they’re too too thick, they’ll just look clunky and awkward. And it really is tough stuff, so once you get it on there, it requires effort to reduce by filing. I’m looking forward to them growing out and doing FILL & creating some length that way. Update: the created nails all popped off within 4 days. But I am loving this gel base and top coat, it makes my nails stronger and shiny. The uv putty has a future for doing small repairs, because it can be shaped and cured so fast. If I want to do a chip repair or something with my jewelry this is a great tool. I.e. I chipped my opal in my ring and was able to use clear and white to repair it and polish it out. Saved me replacing it for nie. Opals are fragile and this material may be stronger. So I will see how long the repair lasts. But at least I can enjoy my ring again. I plan to buy more gel polish by this company because it truly cures with the mini light and my DND brand doesn’t.
