Fantasme is probably one of the cleanest fragrances I’ve ever smelled. It doesn’t come across loud or heavy at all, but somehow it keeps pulling you back in to smell your wrist again. The opening is super fresh with bright citrus. It gives the fragrance a smooth, airy, almost sparkling feel that comes across very refined without trying too hard. Everything about it smells high quality. It’s fresh, clean, slightly soapy, and masculine without smelling like a typical “blue” fragrance. Honestly, it just smells really good. I do get a bit of a resemblance to Mugler Cologne—they both have that high-end, soapy clean vibe. Performance is solid. I was going to rate this a 4 star but that’s nothing against M.A since it’s based on LV, I’m really just mad at the hype behind this scent for its lack of ouf. Nothing special, not the greatest freshie, just a flex to say you’re wearing this. Get it if you’re truly interested in wearing Imagination, Maison did a great interpretation.
