This I recently purchased the MAIDeSITe Standing Desk, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. The adjustable height feature is a game-changer, allowing me to effortlessly switch between sitting and standing positions throughout the day.

    • Good desk, not so easy to assemble, weak wood for the screws (Self tapping)

Good desk overall for the price but not so easy to assemble. Weak wood for the short screws (the self-tapping ones that went into the wood) Bad: - The actual rod that goes from the motor to the other side was kind of weak/mimimal but it worked. It was difficult to assemble the metal rod covers/stabilizers on the rod properly.... no detailed instructions given...you just had to center the 2 metal rod covers/stabilizers over the center of rod the best you cold and the rod kept slipping in/out of the ends of the legs. They should have been able to somehow click in place or some type of end cap designed for the end, so the rods did not slip out of sides of the legs. A freshman ME student could have done better I am certain. - The 16 or so self-tapping screws (ones that went into the wood) were to small and most of the time stripped the wood as you tightened them up so I had to tape the electrical box on with duct tape to the underside of the desk...the need to put the metal receptacles in every spot where they had self-tapping screws and they should have put 4 screws with retainers for the controller box not 2 (definitely a Freshman ME Student no brainer). - The little lame drawer has no retaining tab and it will fall out if you pull it too far and it is in the way of your left knee/leg when sitting.... (again call the Freshman ME Student). The desk is too high at the lowest setting with the casters so it needs to go down another few inches. Good: - The electrical box did work fine after I plugged it in and the mechanism lifted the desk fine. - The desk was sturdy. - Looks nice - Comes with casters and extra useless drawer and side cell phone holder thing and a hook. - Good size depth wise ((30") and multiple widths from which to choose. - Heavy box but a regular guy can lift the box and carry a few feet. - Good packaging and decent instructions - Parts ok with extras, labelled ok ... show more

    • Desk started malfunctioning less than a year. Customer service lacks

The desk was working great when I first got it. Love the design and space. An error message was on the display. I unplugged it and nothing happened. I tried calling the company Madieste phone number listed on Amazon and no on answers. I emailed and no response. Had to go on YouTube to figure out how to reset the desk. They say they provide a warranty but now do you file a claim when Customer Service will not answer calls or emails. Will never buy from this company again. ... show more

Just put it together and got everything setup. Assembly was pretty easy. The 1 thing I will caution you on is when putting parts C & D together make sure you are lining them up correctly with the 4 metal bolt holes in the back, otherwise storage rack won't go on and you'll either have to drill holes or take the entire thing apart and reassemble.     • LOVE THIS DESK!!!! (Except for the darn dowels.)

This desk is perfect. It's big, rolls really well and is super smooth when it goes up and down. It was relatively easy to put together, except for the damn dowels in the first couple of steps. (I think it was mostly my fault) The dowels connect the pieces for the top together and they are super fragile. DO NOT lift ANY of the top until you have the metal plates installed. I did and my dowels broke, so I had to drill them out and just used a shorter dowel that had a little more strength to it. That's LITERALLY the only issue I had. So, I VERY MUCH recommend this desk whole heatedly, but beware the dowels. ... show more

The package arrive in only 3 days, 10 days earlier than expected. The box that the desk came in was a bit beaten up, but the i ner packaging was very robust, so the contents of the box was fully intact. Assembly was very straight forward, and the desk is both beautiful and sturdy! My only disappointment is that I asked Amazon suppirt in advance if the plug would fit a norwegian socket. They assured me it would, bu it didn't. Luckily, I had a spare cable that would fit into the power adapter, so I got the motor function working straight away. As I have read in other reviews, som of the screws don't quite 'lock' into place underneath the desk, but I haven't had any problems because of this. I am very happy with this desk! It comes at a really cheap price, but Un fortunately the shipping to my country doubles the price. That being said, the total price including shipping still makes this great value for money compared to similar products in the same price range! ... show more

I really enjoy working on this desk. If my back is tired from sitting I press a button and it automatically goes to my favorite standing position. If I get tired of standing, the same thing for sitting. I LOVE THIS DESK. It was easy to assemble, took about an hour or so. It is flawless and I am soooooo glad I spent the money on this. Read the instructions especially when it comes to the controller, it will save a great deal of confusion. I tried dealing with the controller at first without reading the manual, BIG MISTAKE. Save yourself the headache and read the manual and instructions and all will be well. Once I read the instructions for the controller, it made sense and now I can say without any shadow of doubt, THE BEST ELECTRONIC DESK FOR THE PRICE BY FAR! ... show more
