Right off the bat, just know that assembly is a bit tedious, especially the first few steps when assembling the legs. Getting the bolts into the right place requires a fair bit of dexterity, maneuvering, and/or another set of hands, so be forewarned. The rest of the process is easy, albeit time consuming. I highly, highly recommend having a drill handy to speed the process along. The only other challenging part of the assembly process was getting the top shelf put in place as you have to place a large piece (which is actually three pieces held together by dowels) into a very precise position. The final result is probably the best quality desk you can get at this price range. The quality of the desk materials is what you would expect at this price point -- particle board -- but the legs are heavy, sturdy, and don't feel the least bit cheap. The desk feels rock solid with no wobble. If you're being indecisive about which desk to get, just get this one. You won't regret your purchase. What I love: - Shipping was insanely fast. Any time I order furniture it feels like there's some sort of delay, but this arrived less than 48 hours after ordering (likely more of an Amazon thing than a Fezibo thing, but worth calling out). - Desk is rock solid, sturdy, hefty. - Raising/lowering the desk is super smooth. - All holes are aligned perfectly. Not a single one of the dozens if not hundreds of holes was misaligned. - Packaging was extremely efficient. I was shocked how small the box was for a desk of this size. - The wood is good for the price point, and the metal is good for any price point. - Comes with under-desk storage for hiding wires. - Comes with cable clips to attach motor wires to the bottom of the desk. - Hooks on either side for headphones or anything else you want to hold. What I would change: - The hole placement when attaching the legs to the motor requires some really odd maneuvering. It's easy for the bolt to fall into the hollow bracket bar, requiring you to tilt the entire thing on its side to get it out. - I wish the drawers came in different colors/material options. Some wood drawer options, for example, would be a nice touch. - Honestly not much else. This was basically exactly what I wanted and it delivered on everything. ... show more

This desk is exactly what I had hoped it would be. There’s ample tabletop space and the additional riser with storage drawers surpassed my expectations. This desk looks sleek and is functional for both use and design. I purchased the brown desk and found it a bit lighter than I expected. It’s darker than a blonde oak but lighter than the ash oak flooring I have at home. Regardless, it offers a nice aesthetic which is important to me. Functionally this desk works beautifully! The motor is quiet enough and there is 0 jerking of my desktop items when I use it for stand or sit positions. The three programmed settings offer enough variability for my use and it was easy to program. There’s a ton of space on the desk top and the riser adds to the real estate. My two monitors and laptop can fit on the riser with room to spare and I have ample desktop space for my keyboard, mouse, and to write notes. Assembly by myself took quite some time. I needed help lifting the unit once the wood was attached to the frame but assembled alone otherwise. The instructions were photos but descriptive enough to figure out. Plenty of hardware and pre drilled holes aligned as needed. While it’s an assemble your own product, I felt like the materials are quality enough that this desk will last some time. Back in 2011, I bought a commercial desk that has served it purpose. It was sturdy and lasted a long time. Thickness of it was about 2". In getting this new one I realized it was only 5/8" thick and a bit "weaker" than my prior one. I suppose I would compare it to IKEA style desk. I gave it 4 stars for sturdiness, it don't wiggle, but there is a slight weakness to it that a commercial style desk would not have. BUT, for this being a home office desk, it is a solid purchase for the money. I found the instructions to be VERY EASY to read and assemble, even for the not so handy person, I think you could get it together yourself very easily. I did NOT have any issues with hardware fitting and getting tight. They even gave extra parts so that you won't find yourself missing a part. I like the options that I got with the small drawers and second level storage. I'm very happy with that. As for the 3 motors, its VERY smooth and quite. I hope that last many years to come. I also like that you can program 3 work levels, that is a nice option and easy to transition to sit or stand. OH how it is NICE to not have to sit in my chair all day.     • Directions could be MUCH better!
Cons: Directions have no words, just pictures. You REALLY have to take your time and study the pictures at certain steps or you will have to redo that step and possibly more depending. Directions get a 2 out of 5 stars. The pilot holes are very difficult to see in a room that isn’t brightly lit up. They should use some paper dots to cover them so that you can find them and just screw the screws right through the paper dots. The side with the numbers 1,2,3 stuck on them are the sides you want facing you, that’s the side with the pilot holes. Look for them BEFORE you start to put the screws into the wood. The cable wires are super long for some odd reason. You will need extra tie downs to keep them out of your way when you turn your desk right side up. I used electrical tape to keep the excess wires out of the way until I could get some extra zip ties. The box it comes in is super heavy! Takes two people to carry it. Pros: looks awesome once it’s all together! Easy to initialize. Noise is VERY low going up/down. Super sturdy and no wobble. Lots of room for everything that I need to keep on my desk while working from home. I would purchase again if I needed another desk….. ... show more
