This desk is nice and sturdy, easy to put together, my boyfriend did it by himself and it took about 30 minutes. It moves up and down smoothly without issue but can be a little noisy depending on the surface you put it on I would imagine, in my case, that would be hardwood floors, so I just placed an area rug underneath it and that lessened the noise. After much research of the options for desks on Amazon I went with this one since the actual stand that raises up and down was much sturdier than others. Since I work fulltime from home, I needed as desk that will last. I covered the desk part with contact paper to match my Alice in Wonderland office decor. I love this desk and am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this desk to anyone looking for a quality sit stand desk at an affordable price. I've been using my desk for a few months now. It works great and makes my day to day easier. I like the size compared to other standing desks. I had an issue where my desk stopped working and reached out to the company. I sent a video of my issue and within a week they sent replacement parts free of charge. Excellent customer service. You get what you paid for, but this desk is great value for how large it is. There are hundreds of motorized desks out there. The higher you go, the faster and quieter they get. This is a fairly large desk and fit my needs. My wife wanted a desk bigger than her old 48"x28" desk, with some extra space to store her work laptop in addition to her desktop. This desk has a built in wire tray management at the back, which is great for storing a singular power strip so the desk can freely go up and down without worry about power cables being too short. It also has a niche headset holder, but she opted out to remove it so it wouldn't interfere with moving in and out of the desk with her chair. The desk took about 30 minutes to install with 2 people and it was quick and easy. No extra tools needed as it came with everything. There are also memory settings which is a big plus. My current desk does not have this, but to add one would've been a $100 adder. This desk is already pretty cheap at $191. The only grip would be multi piece desktop, but that would probably be a more expensive desk as well or a custom built one ourselves. Great desk for the value! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It was a pretty easy put together process. I do really enjoy the desk. I had quite a hard time getting it to work initially though. Once it was all put together and set up / plugged in, I wanted to test it. I hit up, and it creeped up (maybe half an inch) and stopped. When I hit the down button, it did not move and gave an error code “E05.” So I read the instructions and held the up and down button at the same time to reset it. When it reset, it went all the way down, then went all the way up until it gave me a different error code. I had gotten a free replacement and used the desk in the mean time. Would bring it up and when I needed it to go down I would reset it and then unplug it till I wanted it to go back up (bc it kept going up and down each time I reset it.) so I got the replacement and was going to change just the control panel, so I do just that. Same e05 error. I changed everything that would control it going up and down. Nothing. I was extremely frustrated. So I put all of the original plugs back together, I plugged it back in to reset. I decided I was going to let it do it’s thing and then BAM it worked. Went up and down. No error. No stopping every half inch. Works perfectly fine. I would give it a 5 star because now that it works I love it but since it gave me such a hard time I’m going to settle for 4 stars. Expectations were somewhat low going in but this thing delivers. There are a couple of things to pay attention to when it comes to assembly (as seen in some of the other reviews that clearly were assembled wrong) but they are generally well pointed out in the instructions. It is super solid, super smooth and quiet going up and down and looks pretty good. The two cons are 1. it's made out of sections and the veneer pattern does not match between them (only applies to the wood pattern color) and 2. it gives an error if going too low on it but very easy to fix with the reset buttons (without losing memory settings). It also really benefits from running a furniture repair marker (or black sharpie for the black color) along the edges of each section where the top veneer meets the side part since it has some white gaps that are a bit unsightly. ... show more

If you want a sitting/standing desk that doesn't cost a lot this one is for you. The rustic finish is amazing. I have had this table for almost 6 months. It was very easy to assemble, instructions were very clear. I work at this desk for 5-6 days a week, 8+ hours a day and it goes from 29" to 40" several times each day. I have not have an issue with it. Desk is very sturdy. The only problem I had, and this is most likely a user error, is programming the 4 buttons. I was able to get button 1 set for 29" and button 4 set for 40". I could not figure out how to program button 2 or 3. This is not a huge deal to me since I only need two buttons for my sitting height and standing height. You can see the line where the two pieces of the desk meet and it used to slightly bother me but I got used to it. Really not a huge deal. I have the 48x24 desk now, its a good size for two laptops an a headset dock. Not much room for anything else, but I only needed to accommodate those items. I will be purchasing a larger one soon to accommodate more items. ... show more

I bought this desk over a year ago now and so far, apart from the headphones holder screws coming loose every now and again, it is holding up amazingly. My partner has had a different brand of standing desk from amazon and his is falling apart, while this one is still working great.
