This desk came in handy. I am a self-employed tax professional who works all over the place. I get really busy during tax season, and was looking for a stand up desk that I can put anywhere. This is so I can look up information when I am not near my main desk. This one truly came in handy. I am able to use a portable monitor/tablet, and a laptop with the desk. I added a monitor stand so I can use two screens. It's mobile. You can hang your head phones. You can add a cup of whatever you drink is. The price was great. It's flexible, and portable. Product arrived on time, almost as described, and almost perfect condition. Product was better than expected and seller sounds nice, so overlooking two minor flaws. I have a herniated lumbar disk, so I often use my recliner for computer business and leisure. It puts less pressure on my back than to sit upright in a standard office chair, but more cumbersome. For many years, I have wanted to find some kind of a laptop/desk set-up that works with a recliner. I tried one of those rolling bedside tables, but it was rather flimsy and not very attractive. So, I have just gotten by, setting my laptop in my lap, or on the recliner footrest, or on the coffee table, etc. . . It never fails, . . . I will fall asleep, suddenly wake up, and the laptop crashes to the floor. The cats have accidently done this also. I finally had to take the better part of a day and search again for a mobile desk. I was willing to pay for quality, but I generally found that a higher price did not result in more favorable reviews. And so, for less than the cost of one tech computer repair session, this marvelous little desk is saving my back and budget, and looks pretty cool while doing it! The rustic oak option was the selling point for me. I highly recommend reading the reviews, as I generally agree with most of them. I have assembled and worked with solid wood vintage drafting tables and expensive adjustable rolling drafting chairs. This desk is not of that caliber, but it works with my current retirement age and budget; small, multi-purpose, lightweight. It is very nice for what it is. I could hear the parts moving around in the packing box, but I found only one paint chip (see photo near wheel), easy to touch-up. The desk halves were in amazing perfect condition, so pleasing to the touch with smooth rounded corners. I am always looking at that "gouge your flesh" factor with manufactured wood. The desk tops and the metal stand have a slightly textured matt finish. I am a woman in my late sixties, with some aching fingers, and I had no problem with the instructions or assembly. A wrench is provided to tighten the wheels, but you will need a Phillips screwdriver for all the screws. Some reviews mentioned that it was impossible to get both halves of the desk to lay flat, side by side, as one surface. I did find this to be true with my desk (see photos). I was aware of this when ordering, and it was not a feature I cared about. The wheels work just fine on my faux-wood planking. See photos for my recliner set-up. Height adjustment is at lowest setting, so I don't use the pins and knobs. I would agree that adjusting the height on regular basis could be a pain. I don't intend to be doing much of that. I have no headphones, so I did not install the hooks. They would have just caught on things (like my flesh). I love the cupholder for holding the mouse when I am not using it. I wouldn't trust it for liquids, maybe a cup of popcorn chicken or pens and pencils. When I am actually using the mouse and/or my or separate keyboard (I don't like my laptop keyboard), I place the keyboard on my lap or recliner arm, and roll the mouse around on the side table. My cats love this desk because now there is room in my lap for them. Time will tell concerning durability, but for now, quite content.

I really like this desk. I like that the keyboard can be flat or on an incline. The desk is big enough that it would hold 2 monitors, although you would probably need to have them turned inward on an angle to fit. They wouldn’t fit both facing full front side by side. I put it together by myself pretty easily, just pay close attention to the directions like others have said. I’m not sure if they updated something, but I can put the keyboard and monitor shelves together to make one flat desk. There is no overlap or gap like others have said. I made sure to turn it upside down during assembly like the directions said, and had both pieces flat and pushed together during assembly. The holes for the screws are long on one piece so they could be assembled in different positions so just make sure you have them in the right position when you assemble if you want to be able to have one flat desk. It would be 5 stars if it was easier to adjust the height. You have to move 2 pins on each piece to adjust, so you have to hold the full weight of each piece of the desktop and everything on that piece to adjust. It makes me nervous I’m going to knock something over. It does stay in the poles when you adjust, so it doesn’t come completely loose but it will fall all the way down to the lowest position if you don’t hold it up while you’re adjusting. I also wish it had another shelf under it, just to put some extra things like books, notepads, etc but I think it may get in the way of adjusting if it was there. The plastic piece that keeps the keyboard from falling off when it’s on an incline doesn’t go all the way over, so the mouse may slide off if you don’t have a mousepad with something to stop it from falling. The tablet holder on the monitor shelf is pretty narrow (not short-it is longer than my iPad with the widest side down). My iPad fits without a case on but with the case, it won’t fit down in the slot because the case is too thick. The cup holder didn’t feel very steady but I put a 24 ounce water bottle in it with no problems while I worked today. The cup holder will only clip on the keyboard shelf, the bars are in the way under the monitor shelf. Overall for the price, I think it is great and makes it easy to move from room to room and work in different places.

This is the best tall working desk, absolutely what I was looking for is a drafting style desk. We often use it to display a recipe while cooking in the kitchen. It's easy to move between rooms, and I love the shelves and hooks for organizing cords. Buy it, you will wish you did it sooner.

Desk was great. Feels very sturdy and can adjust height as needed. I can easily adjust move my laptop and extra monitor around on the desk as needed and it feels pretty stable. The reason for the lower score, is because adjusting the height so I can go from standing to sitting is not as easy as I expected. I basically have to move all items off so that I can adjust, reorganize again. I did wish it was a bit easier to do that. It’s my only “complaint”. Otherwise it works great.
