They work well for under dresses or wide leg pants for us thicker thighed ladies. Just wish maidenform still used their old blend of nylon and elastic from about 5-10 years ago. The old material was a lot more breathable.

These are the perfect shaping shorts. They are a fraction of the price of high-end brands and do a better job. They hold in my stomach area but are comfortable and don’t create muffin top. They stay in place and don’t roll at the waist or legs. They are great for summer and wick moisture.     • Material is all wrong!

Size reference: 5'6, 135 lbs, normal size: M, bought this product in S. Really wanted to like this as a daily shapewear user, but will not be repurchasing. Two main issues to flag: 1. Material has no grip whatsoever - The material is very slick and has no texture on it. It is more or less see through. I found it to be very comfortable for those reasons but it also means they don't "cling" to your clothes. I didn't care at first but throughout the day I noticed my pencil skirts and work dresses were sliding all around when I walked! Like the back of the skirt would fully be in the front after 10-15 minutes of walking. Was such a bizarre thing I haven't experienced with any shapewear before, especially for form fitting clothes. This probably won't happen if your clothes are loose but most of my workwear is tailored, so had to stop using these. 2. Limited Compression: These provide very minimal compression compared to other shapewear. If your expectation is for these to give you a waist or compress your stomach, this is not your ideal product. I tried sizing down to see if I could get the compression i was hoping for but didn't make a noticeable difference. ... show more
