This slip works great. I needed a bra to wear under a one shouldered dress and a bra and smoother to wear under a low back and tight fitting dress and this works for both. I wore it under the one strap dress this past weekend for a wedding. It was comfortable and I was in it for probably 9 hours. I was considering having cups sewn into that dress so that I didn’t have to wear an uncomfortable strapless bra but this saved me from having to spend money on those alterations, and I can wear it under other dresses as well, so I feel it’s definitely worth buying. I can arrange the straps several ways. Because I could adjust the straps for the one strap dress it stayed up well- I didn’t need to pull it up at all like I would if I had been wearing a strapless bra. I like also that it hooks at the crotch because I feel that keeps it from sliding up, and I didn’t have that problem at all. I also love that it can be machine washed and I just lay it on a drying rack to dry. I think the material is probably thinner than other shape wear so someone else may need thicker material, but it worked great for me. I am 5’8”, approx 145-150 lbs, and wear a 36B. I ordered the 36B, fits great.

Ill start by saying I love this item and would have given five stars if the sizing were less of a guessing game. I do not wear standard size bras and if I were to fit one I would be a 32 double d. This size isn’t available. The closest could guess was 34 D which wasn’t available, with no guide online to go off of either. I ordered a 34 C. This fit great over my shape-wear. Alone it won’t suck you in, but it smooths and works as a slip! With my high waist shaping shorts it was awesome. The bra didn’t sit flat against my sternum/breast plate/rib cage lol, there was a gap so not very comfortable as a bra as it is too small for me. The cup size was small but I like a Demi so it’s ok and I need it to be strapless and non padded because I nurse as well. I’m 5’4” and 143 lbs (not lost the baby weight). I’m afraid if I go larger in bra size it won’t fit, but I’m going to try again later and play with the sizing. Overall it’s great for my needs and for the price. It doesn’t ride up or roll up or cut off my thighs and it hides the shaper underneath well without the dreaded top roll lol. It’s super comfy as I tested it with the shaper kneeling to give my son a bath and wore for six hours no issues! It has a crotch fastener so you will be sure it stays put. The straps are convertible and removable. It’s not as hard to put on as others I’ve tried but it isn’t easy either so just but your big girl panties on and get in it like those jeans you wore in high school and suck it up if you want to fit into any of your clothes or wear styles you otherwise couldn’t pull off without shapers and slips. It will smooth you out no doubt! Just double up with some control top bottoms underneath it that go up to your underbust area to get the best results, I recommend shorts because the thongs hurt as they ride up and briefs cut your cheeks in half! Just get it, you won’t be disappointed, at worst you may need to get another size. It’s worth it, stop looking!

I'm so glad I read the reviews and took the advice on the bra size. I normally wear 36C and ordered a 38B. It fits perfect. I like the back where where it hooks together rather than just slip on. It hooks right where my "love handles" are and for once they are not detected with a dress on. I've only tried it on but I imagine the built in underwear helps keep the dress pulled down. I'm so excited. I got it to wear under a very think crochet dress for my wedding and every one out there knows how much they want to look thinner and feel better about yourself on your day, The shapewear holds a body in to help give shape but it doesn't encase like a linked sausage. And in reality it shouldn't. The others I've had that I bought too small has only caused me to not breathe well and create a spare tire of back fat above the shoulders. I'd rather have a pooch then a weird back fat roll. So finally I found something that didn't do that. I've owned plenty of shapewear but this is the best for me.

So, I ordered this slip because it was literally the only thing I could find to work with a backless dress I had bought for elegant night on the cruise. I’m a larger chested gal and those stick on bras just don’t work for me. The item arrived exactly as described, new and on the hanger. I ordered it in black. I’m 5’9’’ and about 165, I’m a little thick but average build. I normally wear a 36D or 38C, so I ordered this in a 36D so it would be tight enough and stay on even if I wore it strapless. However, when I held it up to me for the first time I started to worry. I tried it on and it fits, but there is def some things that don’t work for me. As other buyers stated the back clasp is EXTREMELY hard to button by urself. Be prepared to have help. The back clasp sits at the base of ur back when on and at least on me, it seemed to land in just the right spot where it actually pushed my stomach fat down and giving me like a reverse muffin top. Also, and I’m sure this is because of my tall height, the built in underwear is somewhat of an issue for me. It’s short on my torso so due to the pulling you can see the seams where the underwear is sewn in from the outside. The bra part was great, very shaping and I loved that part of it. As for smoothing, it does help some and would be wonderful if the middle wasn’t pushing everything in the wrong places. I intend to keep it, and may try removing the built in underwear cause I think that would help a lot. But, if u are above 5’8’’, I would probably look for something else.
