This thermostat worked perfectly and was easy to install I had a check engine light for coolant not getting up to temp in the proper time and this fixed the issue. The difference between this and the aftermarket thermostat I pulled out was substantial. Don’t cheap out on this part!

    • High quality OEM equivalent part
To echo previous reviews, this is the OEM Mopar part. The only difference is that the pentastar logo and Mopar part number have been filed off. Installation on the Jeep Wrangler JK is an easy, 30-minute DIY project. However, do yourself a favor and buy a pair of hose clamp pliers and a hose pick.

Perfecto en mi jeep wrangler 2014 ,no necesité drenar el radiador abajo,solo puse un carton abajo del termostato y callò en una charola casi medio litro de coolant ,tardé unas 30 mt en cambiar el termostato ,despues de recorrer unas 10 millas la luz del check engine se apagò sola.

    • Excellent Replacement
I installed this on my 2013 Dodge Durango 3.6L Pentastar. It literally took me 10 minutes to change this out. The housing fit perfectly, the seal was tight with no leaks and all I had to do was move the Intake Plenum to the side, remove the upper radiator hose, remove the old thermostat housing, then replace. It's that easy! Driven for 2 weeks now with no leaks and no issues with overheating. Thanks! ... show more
