This Mahancris bar cart is a smaller size that would be good for a smaller area. It does have three levels to help maximize the space utilization. Note that the bottom shelf is just slightly larger than the top two and that the cart handle ads a couple of inches to the height. Instruction sheet was included and assembly was fairly quick. All parts/packaging was numbered so just pull out the parts as you need them. The wheels are actually metal and two of them are the locking type. The shelves are a type of particleboard material so if you spill something on it, the shelf should be wiped up quickly to avoid the boards from warping or getting damaged. Although the weight rating shows 44 pounds for each shelf, the shelves are thin and only secured on the sides with some screws so I wouldn't put heavy items on the shelves as this is a lightweight cart. ... show more

3-1/2 stars. This little gold cart is quite cute. The price is pretty affordable for a tall 3-shelf unit. The overall look is nice with the gold and white. It assembles easily and the instructions are clear. The gold finish is a little flat and mustardy in color. It's adequate, but not the best shade. Each piece is labeled with a numbered sticker and they are difficult to remove. It took me longer to remove the stickers and residue, than assembling the unit itself. That was really an aggravating step in the process considering removable stickers are readily available. My concern is the shelving. They are exceptionally thin and only held on by a couple of screws that go through the ends. There is no support on the sides or in the middles of these thin mdf shelves. The description gives the each shelf a 44 pound weight limit and even that would seem to much over time. I think the piece would have had much more potential if the shelving had been designed thicker and fastened in a different way. In my opinion, this would be best for very lightweight items. Crafts, office, bedside.... I don't know that the thin mdf shelves would support the weight of anything heavier over time. Assembly - they instruct you to put the handle on first and that makes for an awkward situation because you can't stand it flat. I would suggest putting the handle on last. I also decided at the last minute that I liked it better without the handle, so that's an option, too. ... show more

I'm using this bar cart for all of our drink mixes and flavors and our coffee maker, coffees, teas, and tea cups. It is a space saver. I cleaned up my counters with this little cart. We also have limited plugs so we are moving appliances around and this makes it easy to get them out of the way! Perfect for special occasion dishware as well. It's small so it might tip easily if you have big dogs or small kids. ... show more

As long as you realize the price point, it is very nice I think. Its basically IKEA level, with very similar type put together instructions (I did it while watching tv, very easy but you literally put every single part together yourself - not one screw is pre-attached for you). The melamine shelves are a bit imperfect, the 'gold' painted rod parts do not trick anyone, but I like it alot. I use it as a 2nd end table. The swivel casters are better than described: 2 locking, 2 non-locking. The locks aren't high end, so wouldn't expect to last as long as, say, baby carriage wheel locks, but I can't see locking the wheels on this anyway. This style is very convenient for storage next to a sofa or tv chair. As long as you understand you are buying at a certain price point, I definitely recommend this. ... show more
