Ordered a pair of these 150 MagSwitch magnets. They arrived quickly and are indeed strong magnets, as if by magic at a twist of the switch. Installed them in a feather board I made for the table saw, and they work well for the most part. I cannot pry the featherboard straight up off the cast iron table for love nor money! Strong, as I mentioned above. But apply a lateral force across the surface of the table -- like you experience while ripping a long board -- and they will migrate. Not much, if you're careful, but enough to defeat the purpose of the feather board. Overall, I am satisfied. They are a good product with many practical applications. Just be aware that the magnets are very strong, but they have limitations. Just goes to show you that the laws of physics are beyond our mortal attempts at repeal!

Very nice. They work great. I noticed several knock-offs for sale and their reviews mentioned that they were still somewhat magnetic. in the "off" position. Not these. They're either on or off. I bought two of these and my only regret is that I wish I'd purchased a stronger set. These work fine but a stronger pair would have more uses.

Using magnets in the shop is something which proves very useful. With the ability to turn the magnets on and off is quite useful and these can be used in many applications and move around to different jigs you build in the shop and many uses without a jig. Use them to hold a plane blade while you are flattening the backs of the blade. Very useful investment.

I picked up this set to use on a jig I made for my table saw. I needed some strong magnets to hold my jig in place as I didn't want to drill holes in my new table saw and I wanted an "easy on/off" way of mounting. These worked amazingly well. They're strong, my jig isn't going anywhere They're easy to use, you turn the knob, they stick, turn it back, they release The magnets are insanely strong. I screwed two pieces of metal to the wall of my shop so when I'm not using the jig, I put it on the wall, turn the knobs and it's stored.....no drilling mounting holes in the jig itself. I plan on buying another few sets when I make a few more jigs.
