Good quality. Fit right in. I did change the two springs to the heavier ones it can with. Only thing that worries me is when going to fifth gear you have to make sure it is fully in before you let off the clutch. Feels like it don’t have enough travel. Good shifter for the money.

I love my hurst shifters, but needed to find one for cheap. Amazing short shifter, no more long throws in the new edge, amazing price, very tough to maneuver when first installed but, once the bushings start getting use it loosens up and shifts amazing! Highly recommend for your Mustang if you don’t have the money for a hurst. Best bang for your buck, easy installation, looks amazing, and works perfect. ... show more

This is really a nice shifter for the price. All aluminum but has a little weight to it so it doesn’t feel cheap. Throws are really short. Took about 45 minutes to install, but I was taking my time. Fits perfectly and looks great. Performance is pretty close to excellent. You’ll want to swap to the heavier springs before you install the shifter. The only drawback I can find is I wish the top part of the handle was just an inch or so longer and tilted to the rear for easier reach. All in all, a great deal for the money. ... show more

    • The ball does not fit into the transmission correctly

As someone else posted in a review the ball is too large to fit into the transmission/ gearbox correctly. I read that in review and didn't believe it could be possible. I had to use a table grinder to shave the ball down until the bushing fit freely and move freely around it. Other than that it seems sturdy enough. I haven't driven with it yet since I am still working on some other things before I drive it ... show more
