likes : .,...I had it in a box for a long time finally got to install it I'm not a mechanic im a DIY guy and it came out great the instructions are pretty much one page with a lot of pics for guys /gals like us . C4 /C6 Fords you might need to cut the existing lower portion of your trans lever to fit the B&M lever on . I was never going back to column anyway worked out for me , I love it you can beat it and it won't get mad lol 😆 it's 70"s slapstick kind of action made to be man / girl handled 🥺 no regrets just what I wanted no popping out of gear cheap 80 dollar shifter .     • This shifter saved our van
I know most people use this floor shifter to go faster. We use it to have our passenger van operate reliably We operate a hotel and use a 1996 E 350 van to haul people and supplies. The Ford 1996 E 350 has a flaw--the stock column shifter jams up. The Ford dealer carries the repair parts on the shelf because of the recurring problem on all '96 E 350's. The rest of the van is great. After replacing the stock column shifter the transmision works just fine, and I expect to have the van in service for a long time. It does take a little getting used to, but works great. ... show more

Instructions are wrong. For the TH400 turbo, you should use the middle cable connect hole, not the front one, which the instructions suggest. The same instructions say that incorrect install could simple destriy the trany. I called their tech support and they claim that they haven't heard this before. All lies. ... show more
