Put this on my Maverick 88 and love it. I was always hearing that Blue Force Gear was the best sling there was, so I got one and put it on my 1301. But I actually think I like this one better. The BFG feels more heavy duty, but also stiffer, and does not adjust as smoothly. Maybe it just needs to be broken in. I know it’s what the military uses and is probably more durable, but I won’t be lugging my shottie around Afghanistan. The material for the Magpul feels plenty strong while also being softer, suppler, and adjustments on the fly are a breeze. ... show more

I bought this alongside an Amazon special quick adjust sling. I like this one better because the adjustment is like a flat handle instead of a bulky loop. The straps are nice and thick, plus the hardware is fit to them perfectly so it doesn't bind up or twist like a lot of other straps like this. Adjusts very smoothly and is not as rough against your skin except at the end where it's heat sealed. I bought one for my rifle, and after learning how to use it and getting it properly set up, I loved it so much I ordered another for my shotgun. I bought this for my Bearcreek Arsenal AR-15 clone rifle, and I'm very pleased with it. Attachment was easy, and it instantly adjusts for length by pulling the strap. It's also strong and maintains its length once set. This is one of probably one or two of the best options for both carry and for a stabilizing anchor point while shooting one of the many AR-pattern rifles. ... show more

I found one of these on sale at my local store, and bought it because I needed a sling for my rifle, and I fell in love with it. I showed it to my wife, and she wanted one for her rifle, and even bought to put on a third rifle. It's a simple, no frills, sling that is easy to use. It's comfortable, fast adjusting, and the quick length adjustment is fast and easy, plus it stays where you put it. For a relatively inexpensive sling, this thing is great! I am very impressed with this sling! I bought it because of the price, features and good ratings, and I hate to say it, but I like it just as well if not better than my Blue Force Gear Vickers sling (and it is about half the price). I bought this to give it a try, and now I have 3 of them.
