These sights are excellent. Very low profile when folded, nice and tall when deployed. Unlike various Chinese sights sold on Amazon, Magpul sights have ZERO play in them, so I expect them to hold zero. This (alongside a rear sight of course) are parked permanently on an AR15 I have. I run a red dot on that rifle, and these are a perfect addition for easy transition between red dot and irons. I normally leave them down for storage, but if I'm shooting I have them up so I can practice transitioning between the two. Zero was super easy, the fit well and stay in place, and hold zero nicely as they should. I expect nothing less of magpul, and if I had more rifles to put them on, I'd get these again. ... show more

The rear sight fits perfectly between the charging handle and brass deflection knuckle while still giving enough space to operate the charging handle and rear sight. Perfect! Great solid quality also.. worth every penny!

Excellent quality, beautiful fit and finish (like all Magpul stuff). They snap in place very tightly... I can't imagine any scenario where they would accidentally fold down (unless you dropped the rifle or fell on it or something, in which case you WANT them to fold down instead of breaking or bending). Adjustment screws are tight, but not ridiculously so. The average person could turn them with some effort... although I imagine fingers getting sore after 20 clicks or so. The super thin front post is REALLY nice. It feels precise, and I like it a lot better than others I have used. They are nearly invisible folded down, which I also like. Also it's worth mentioning that they line up perfectly on the barrel. This may seem obvious, but many of the cheaper ones skimp on that aspect and good luck ever getting consistency with sights that don't line up on the barrel. I was hesitant to spend this much, but I'm glad I did. ... show more

Bought the front and rear 45 degree sights to acquire shots on up close targets versus changing magnification on my sight. With 5 shots I was open sight hitting the bullseye at 50 yards. These sights are super sturdy there is no play in them. I have purposefully been opening and closing them to see if they hold zero and they are spot on.
