What do you really need to carry with you in your wallet? We believe that it is three ID/access cards, three credit cards and three Bills. The single pocket logo side is used to hold up to four ID/access cards and the dual pocket in the back is used to hold up to three credit cards in the top pocket and up to four emergency Bills folded in the lower pocket. Believe it or not. I have 9 cards in this wallet. But compared to a rather thin pen, it's still a smaller mm size. The cards fit snug in there, yet easy to remove. TL;DR I'm ordering a second one after three years, since I finally figured out how to destroy my first one. Don't stuff yours to bulging and it should last at least that long, probably longer. THE STORY After two years of only showing slight cosmetic wear and tear from daily use, I started getting a little adventurous with how much I tried stuffing into this slim little wallet. Just past the three-year mark here, I'm finding that it is actually possible to cause those rock-solid seams to split. The trick was routinely stuffing 5-10 bills in with my standard 7 cards. WHY THIS WALLET IS GREAT It's durable. I've previously used a wallet made from Tyvek, and that things was truly indestructible (no need for replacement even after getting run over by a car). In comparison, Magpul DAKA gets 4/5 for durability. Compared to a conventional wallet, this Magpul deserves 5/5. It's secure, but not excessively grippy. This wallet slides easily enough into pockets, but it has never let a card slip out in three years, even when almost empty. It's tiny. The thickness of the wallet is basically the thickness of what you put inside it. Holding a few cards and folded bills in this wallet feels the about same in your pockets as if you used a paperclip instead. It's simple. It's affordable. Even after wearing my first one out aggressively, the cost came out around $5 a year. PRO TIP If it starts bulging, you're probably putting too much into it. To keep it in good shape, limit yourself 5-7 cards and 2-4 bills. ... show more

If you know Magpul, that’s the plasticky textile used for this wallet. I have their furniture on many of my personal pieces, so figured I would give this a try. I needed a thin wallet for hiking deep in the Smoky Mountains and didn’t want to bring my full card collection. This allowed me to keep a license, debit and two CC’s contained in a very slim space. The wallet is slightly bigger than the cards themselves and can hold a bit of cash or receipts along the way. And having used a bunch of slimline wallets over the years, I can say this is one of the thinnest and least intrusive, yet provides some bulletproof protection that won’t let your cards slip and slide. ... show more

    • I hate carrying my heavy wallet but this will not replace ...

I got this as a back up wallet for when I don't want to carry my leather one such as while bike riding, running, going to the mall and will be on my feet all day, going to the shooting range, or may get wet from rain. I hate carrying my heavy wallet but this will not replace it. It will supplement it. I cant see int replacing the functionality of my leather wallet but will work great when i want to go light. The Magpul wallet is well built but putting cash in it can be awkward. It holds cards well. I mostly use cash for my purchases This is made mostly for someone who uses credit cards. Its great for carrying ID (license and CCW) with a few bucks which is why i got it. Gave it 4 stars due to how awkward carrying cash is with the wallet. ... show more

Holds 7 cards no problem. Fast access. Doesn't get stretched out. Ready for anything you throw at it. Fits great in the pocket. Holds up. Great present for anybody looking to drastically cut down on that wallet profile.

I cut down on the number of cards I carry on the daily to fit this wallet and it works out great. It sits extremely flat and takes up very little space. Cards are easy to access as long as you don't overload it. I keep one or two bills folded up between lesser used cards in case I need cash. I've seen some of these look like they are falling apart after heavy use, but at just about $15, if it lasts me even a year, I'll be very happy.     • Love the Material, but too difficult to get cards out.

This is definitely one of the slimmest (by material and designs) wallets out there. The material of the wallet feels very strong (in a good way). I've used a minimalist/slim wallet for the last decade or so and while I was hoping this would be the one for me, that's unfortunately not the case. The downside of this wallet is also one of the best parts about it. In the product photos you will notice there is a recessed pocket that the cards on the upper level sit in to. This is great because it doesn't cause your cards to bulge or the wallet to warp as you place all your cards. That said, the issue with this recessed "tray" that the cards go in to makes it really difficult to get them out. You'll notice the rounded border/edge of the wallet. That perfectly hugs the rounded corners of the credit card/ID you have in there. Looks awesome, but makes access to cumbersome. Assuming you are like me and keep your fingernails relatively well maintained (read: cut short) then it takes too much effort and intention to wedge a finger between the border trim and your card. Long story short. This wallet holds cards beautifully, meaning literally beautifully. No warping to the wallet or puckering as it common with many wallets this size when you actually fill them with cards. But it was just too annoying to try and dig out a card from the recessed tray they slide in to. Bummed for sure as I was really hoping this would be the one. ... show more
