This is the best lamp I have gotten on Amazon. It is bright, but does cause glare because the LED chips are arranged across a fairly big disk. This has a standard plugin cord, not an adapter bump or USB adapter. The power switch on top has a good feel and appears to be sturdy. Longevity is to be seen, but I expect it will last a while. The neck is nice and stiff, and the clip is secure when on a 3/4" shelf. The only downside to this lamp is the black and silver colors make it a bit ugly, but I have it as a work light over my keyboards in a studio, so it has plenty of company in the utilitarian look department. ... show more

The light is good quality. The wire is the thinnest I have ever seen but is works great. I had to use the provided mounting plate on my band saw otherwise the magnet didn’t hold. It holds solid to the plate. The light is bright. I have no regrets

OK. I love this light, the smaller head size stays out of the way and it spreads nice light all over work bench. In a metal garage/shop the magnetic stand is handy and you can switch the magnet off to move or adjust the base super easy.
