this works great. only issue is if you want to get a real close line, the pressure foot will be in the way to lift the foot on the tool. so i just worked with it down. i find this tool super handy and its in a two pack and i have 3 machines. my brother machine only has a metal throat plate but this sticks so firmly i can move it back quite a bit and still have it attached. so if that might be an issue for you, check the arm of your machine, is it plastic or metal? this does hold in place by magnet so you do need metal to where you will be using it. i think its super easy for when you have to just work fast and turn an even hem. or it will keep you in place if you work slow and steady but need to be sure you dont wander off that line.

It could be a great product but it was to big for my sewing machine. My metal plate for it to stick to wasn't big enough.

You will not be disappointed in this magnetic seem guider. The use of this is so easy. All you do is bring it near your sewing machine and it so strong that it clips to it quickly. The magnet is very strong and stays in place, when stitching even at high speeds. I love that you can move it anywhere you need to and it’s so large in the back area that even if the smallest pieces on that metal plate it will hold in place still. This is so easy to use. Literally the functionality is put it on your machine open up the clip, slide your fabric next to it and start sewing. You’re going to save so much money using this guide by not having to waste time or material because of uneven lines!!!

This is a great tool for helping me keep things straight. The magnet is strong too but not too strong making it easy to remove when needed. And the price for 2 of them was great. They look bulky but are east to use.

It does the job of holding the fabric while sewing. However, I could not get close enough due to its size, so it did not fit well on my Brother's Sewing Machine.
