I don't usually leave reviews. I have seen other reviews where people have had quality issues but i have had none. Yes the case is flimsy, but that's kind of the point as it is very thin. For me the best thing about it is its one of the only cases i have seen that offers the ability to be locked on (via their hinge pieces.) without actually covering the hinge and making the case bulky and ugly. Getting upset at a case for breaking after a drop is like getting mad at airbags for deploying after a crash. The point of a case is to protect the phone in a drop. If the case breaks then that's just the way it goes and you should be happy it saved the $1k plus phone. I also have the samsung s pen case and while the materials on it are wonderful, i can not get past the idea the front is only held on by adhesive, it constantly comes loose and is very very annoying. This case solves that with it with the hinge they have designed. I dont wireless charge as it makes phones very hot and i don't like that, BUT i do use magsafe and the magsafe on this is very strong and usable, the shape of the phone prevents normal magsafe accessories from fitting properly, but that's the phones fault not the case. Samsung cases for their own phones don't sit flat when opened. This one does much better. There's a small wobble on the bottom right corner. The cases hinge adds some rigidity to the phones hinge. Good case.

    • Case is literally falling apart
Tl;Dr: case will start falling apart within a month and the company doesn't offer product support. I got this back in September and immediately the left hand side of the exterior of the top bit of the case started cracking. I didn't think it was a huge deal because even though the rigid part cracked it's glued to a flexible part that kept it together. About a month in the case started falling apart. Chunks of the rigid plastic keep falling off and now the rigid plastic part under the earpiece has broken off completely and it's too late for a return and the company doesn't offer product support. ... show more

    • inexpensive but on par with the more expensive cases out there
I did not expect this type of quality for the price of this case! So far I've bought 3 cases from amazon that i got what i paid for. This case is thick enough to offer protection, the edges are soft (silicone?) rubber so you get that cushion should you drop the fold (yes i've inadvertently drop tested it on bathroom ceramic tile). The best part is it doesn't come with sticky tape to keep it in place, yes you heard right, it's held together by a couple of magnets that protect the hinge while keeping a tight fit so you can take the case off and switch it as needed without worrying about losing those pesky sticky tabs. When opened, the Fold retains most of it's thin profile and still get some relief as it feels pretty tight and secure, no shifting or sliding around the case. Cutouts are on point with ease of access to the side buttons and no interruptions with the mic and speaker cut outs I haven't had a chance to test the Mag magnetic capabilities or how strong it is yet but if i'm to assume, i wouldn't doubt it if it's on par with the quality of this case but will update my review when i have some magnetic accessories to try it with. So far wireless charging works flawless, no obstruction on the type-C charging port either. Overall, I give this case a 4/5 as i haven't tested the magnetic properties yet. My concern was getting great protection and quality for a reasonable price as i feel the cases out for the Fold 5 are ridiculously overpriced. This case hits all the nails on the head and for the price you can actually buy 2 for the cost of 1 expensive brand name case. I am super happy with my purchase having owned 3 other Fold cases and pretty much getting what i paid for (cheap quality). DEFINITELY A MUST BUY! ... show more

No coverage for the hinge but that's shown in the pictures. The case area where the magnet sits ended up separating after just a few months of use. The front screen cover is very flimsy and ended up breaking in multiple areas since it's a 2 piece design. The magnet strength is acceptable when used with a decently built holder especially for a heavy phone as the fold5. ... show more

    • After using an expensive case...
I've tried the samsung branded cases - they are terrible - using adhesive as most do. The problem with adhesive is - if you take it off to clean your phone the adhesive wears off after taking it off 1 time. There is a torras case that is around 90 bucks - it works fine for a while then eventually the end of the springs break through the plastic and could potentially damage your phone. This case is minimal and may not protect the phone very well from drops but, it will protect it from everyday use. It's also very minimal, which is what I was looking for.
