After years of waiting, the case I've been looking for. I've been looking for a "magsafe" case without a clear back for years. The options have been few, and always had something that was a deal breaker. Not tough enough, too expensive, etc. This one looks nice, will hold up to a fall, and is cheap. I've tried several "magsafe" cases for the s22 over the past year and half. I've only had this one for 2 days, but so far this one is easily the best. The material feels great in the hand. It's is not slippery, but still slides easily into a pocket. I am a little concerned that its soft feel will not hold up over time, but as cheap as these are, it wouldn't be a big deal if it needs to be replaced. The actual magnet on the back also sets this apart. The other "magsafe" cases I have tried have had rings that were attracted by magnets, but did not contain magnets themselves. This has an actual magnet. It holds to my accessories significantly better. This was important for me as the primary accessory is a silicone loop that I don't want to come off easily. I've been using this case for a couple of weeks and I really like it. It's design is sleek and slim and it fits my phone perfectly! All the camera cutouts, port cutouts and buttons align exactly. The rubbery coating has a great texture for gripping the phone and it doesn't show fingerprints. The magnetic ring on this case has a strong connection to various magnetic phone holders and chargers that I use. Unfortunately, there are a few small spots where the rubbery coating is chipping off after only 2 weeks. That being said, I'm not very gentle when taking the phone out or shoving it in a pocket. My biggest issue with this case is that the area around the camera lenses are raised - this makes some sense, as it offers protection against the lenses being damaged, but this portion sticks out farther than the rest of the case, meaning the device will not sit flush on a table. As a result, if I have my phone lying on a table and tap the screen anywhere except the bottom left corner, the phone will annoying rock back and forth. All they needed to do was make the rest of the case a milimeter or so thicker so the phone lies flush on surfaces. To be fair, it seems an overwhelming majority of phone cases (and phones themselves, in light of the camera "bump") have this problem. The material is a soft-touch plastic that provides for a decent grip without sticking to the insides of pockets, etc. The rear edge of the case is a bit on the sharp side. The magnetic connection seems to work fine, but I haven't used it for longer than a week to attest to any reliability. I would have appreciated the side buttons being a little more tactile/responsive/clickier. The phone seems to interfere with the wireless (non-magnetic) charging mat that came standard in my new car. It starts to charge, then seems to cause an error. But it works fine with the MagSafe portable charger that was the reason behind buying this in the first place. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I included a short video with my review of this magsafe compatible case and cover mostly everything in that so I'll try and keep this short. When I decided to purchase this case I honestly didn't know what to expect because I tend to focus mostly on the few negative reviews and don't take into consideration the 95% positive reviews any product I buy off amazon. I'm glad that I didn't let those negative reviews sway me to not spend nine whole dollars on this incredible case. It's got a really nice lightweight but not cheap feeling rubber grip to it the fact that it's squared off instead of the usual rounded edges that come standard with most Samsung cases makes it feel like more of an iPhone when it's in your hands and it does an oversized Samsung Galaxy. As soon as I get within about 3/4 of an inch to the magsafe charger the charger immediately gets sucked right onto the phone case in the exact spot it's supposed to be in. It takes a good amount of forced to remove it from the charger which is fantastic that's what you want from a MAG safe compatible phone case. I will mention one thing I'm not thrilled about that I didn't mention in the video because I hadn't tried it out yet but the protective glass camera lens Shields that come installed in the case do affect the way the photographs look. It doesn't make them blurry or anything like that but it does cause a very noticeable fisheyed affect to your photographs. Still not a deal-breaker for me at all I will just remove the case when I take my photographs simple as that. I don't do a whole lot of filming or taking photos with this phone unless it's to take pictures of a product I'm listing for sale on eBay so it's not an issue for me to remove the case for 5 or 10 minutes so I can get good photos. Really for nine bucks you can't beat this thing unless you're obsessed with documenting your entire life by means of photograph and or video with your phone. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the convenience of having a magsafe charger. I ended up buying this because my charging port on my s21 is pretty much destroyed from 4 years of plugging and unplugging the cable so my only choices were either to buy a new phone or spend $9 on this case and $15 on a two pack of knock-off brand mag safe chargers.
