This seems to go on my 68 year old skin very well. I am surprised at how it looks. There's not much coverage but there is some evening out of skin tone. It's not settling into my wrinkles which stuns me because I have literally tried every product and gimmick out there. I wish there were instructions that came with it because I got the larger kit and it comes with 2 brushes but it doesn't tell you which brush is for what. It does tell you how to use the product just not the brushes. Nice brushes, too. I'm hoping as I use it I can figure out how to get a bit more coverage out of it. I've had it on for 6 hours now and I am impressed. I'll never go back to regular foundation again. ... show more

Love the set so far!!

I really like how it went on. I am fair skinned and got the light one. I love the box it came in and the size or the primer, foundation, and the setting spray were good sizes. They are small at all. I like that it came with 2 brushes. Would have liked it to specify which brush is used for what but i figured the one closest to the primer was for the primer. I like how light weight and sheer it was on my face. I didn't feel like I had a lot of makeup caked on my face. I've only used it once so far on Thanksgiving Day so im hoping it keeps coming out of the containers like it did perfectly the first time. Ive bought some spray foundation before from another company and it only sprayed 6 to 7 times. I was disappointed from that company. I hope this one continues to work. I had no problem putting it on. I love how you don't have to put on a lot. And you can put on more if you want to. Just have to make sure it dries throughly. I did use serums under the primer. I thi k next time ill just use a moisturizer under the primer. So far...I love the set!! ... show more

I purchased the Magic Minerals AirBrush Foundation System (Complete 5 PC set) by Jerome Alexander in LIGHT. I was excited to try it. I will be fair and say that I have a really hard time finding foundation that works for me as I have gotten older. I am 61 and my biggest issues are large pores, hormonal blemishes, and a light dusting of that baby hair all over my face. Oh, and let's not forget my dying skin that is constantly flaking, faster and faster, as I (we) age. Anyway, as coverage goes, the foundation did a great job covering blemishes and areas of discoloration. It did not help in terms of minimizing pores, and honestly, NO foundation seems to like the little hairs on my face. That said, it seems I can never achieve the natural look that I would like to have. The invisible Air Primer didn't seem very helpful in terms of resolving any of those issues for me. It did help the foundation glide on more smoothly, so I'll give it that. The Air Finish Setting Spray smelled nice and I liked it. I thought it helped with trying to achieve the desired, more natural look. I sprayed it on and used a sponge to apply it. The set also included 2 kabuki brushes -- a fat one and a slimmer one. The brushes are nice. All in all, it's a nice product and it's probably great for most people. It just didn't really work well for me. I am not going to dis it for that. Great Products!

I'm 50- almost. My skin is picky and I'm pale as paper- except my freckles. This product is great. This is my second foundation purchase, but the first time using this primer and setting spray. The products are designed to work well together... and they do! I find liquid and powder foundations to be streaky, heavy, blotchy and off colored on any given day. My skin randomly changes the game on me. However, this air brush style is the most flattering on my skin-consistently. If you haven't gotten the look you want with powder or liquid foundation, give this combo a try. It is super light, but can be layered, smooth so it doesn't cake or blotch up, doesn't feel drying or sticky, and finishes really pretty. While not everything works for everyone, I'd say to give this a try!! ... show more

Works great for beginners

TL,DR: easy to use the spray and brush. The kabuki brush is so soft. After 4 uses I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. I followed the advice from a different post. Two short sprays downward toward the sink to help cleanup. Then I dotted forehead, nose, cheek, cheek, chin to spread it out a little bit. Then went back and brushed the foundation in small circles all around. I have combination skin and this feels lightweight. the Fair shade worked well for my Wisconsin winter skin tone. Full Review: First I need to start out that I am not a makeup expert by any means and consider myself a novice. I haven't worn makeup in probably 2-3 years. I'm a 40 year old mother of two boys. I am a professional in healthcare (orthopedic surgery PA)on the go. I decided it was time to get back into skincare and makeup for my own wellbeing and confidence. I have combination skin on the oily side with dry skin on my forehead and nose and large pores. I get occasional breakouts along the jaw line and have discoloration from past breakouts. When the kit arrived, my face regimen was an acne type face wash in the shower followed by a salacylic acid moisturizer. I thought I was helping prevent pimples, but what I was doing was drying out my skin. The first time I tried the foundation I was disappointed because although it went on easily, it stuck to my dry skin and looked uneven. I realized that the cream and lotions I used in my twenties are not the right thing for me in my forties. I felt like I was too young for all of the "Age defying" creams, but too old for Clearsil. The skincare isle at the store is overwhelming with all of the choices. So, The scientist in me hit the internet to find out what I should be using instead. I learned that I need a cleansing oil to remove dirt and makeup without stripping my face of oil, which just in turned caused more oil. I read about all of the serums that are out there. I decided that I would try Vitamin C serum (boosts collagen for firmness and reverses cell damage which will lighten discoloration) and hyaluronic acid (hydration without oily feeling. HA can hold 1000 times its weight in water). Lastly, I needed a moisturizer and found one for combination skin. This is just the new morning routine. Nighttime is micellar water to wipe away makeup, followed by cleansing oil. I decided that I would use a retinol serum (a form of Vitamin A that can clear up acne, even skin tone and color. it can be harsh at first and can make a person sun sensitive. so good at nighttime.) I was able to find all of these new items at Walmart. I spent about $60 total. After one night and one morning, the flaky skin was practically gone. I'm 4 days in now. The foundation went on so much better and didn't catch on any dry skin. By the 4th day I was getting quicker with using the primer and foundation. At first I didn't think the primer was doing anything or thought I wasn't using enough. But I looked closer and realized that it gave a matte look. Hopefully that's what its supposed to do. The foundation lasts all day. I am still in need of a concealer pen for undereye darkness and a few spot coverup. So now my routine includes actual skincare and foundation. I don't want to shock my coworkers with a full face makeup overnight! lol I am still learning about the rest of my makeup. I never really learned how to properly apply it. I watched a "no-makeup" makup tutorial by Beauty and the Boutique. This encouraged me to buy a concealer pen and liquid blush that can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips. Color: 08 Warm Medium Size: 5PC Pro Starter Set
The foundation is ok. I started spraying on the brush like shown, but so much gets everywhere and the brush is just too full. So I spray it in an old powder foundation lid. There is still a lot of spray getting on the vanity and anything nearby, but not quite as much. Then I lightly dip the brush in the puddle. It isn't so heavy handed that way. I thought it would dry to a powder like finish, but it stays moist. In fact the product sprayed in the lid is still wet a day or two later. I tried the primer, but it just felt wet and oily and left my face feeling extra oily all day. I only tried the finishing spray once. Again with the wet and oily. I don't understand how something wet, that stays wet, is going to set the wet foundation. But I'm no makeup expert, just sharing my experience on my 62 year old skin. ... show more

There was absolutely nothing I liked about this product. To start, there is so much over spray, you're likely loosing half the product and at the price point is nothing to sneeze at. The product goes on thicker than I had hoped. I tried several distances to try to get less on the Kabuki brush to no avail. Once on my skin, it found every nick, cranny and wrinkle on my 57 year old skin. Not an attractive site!! The piece d'resistance was the last step to set the previously mentioned applied make up. There must have been a defect in the nozzle as it came squirting out in a stinging spray vs the gentle, misting spray I was expecting. In conclusion, this was the worst make up to ever touch my face. You're better off going to the dollar store and buy something on clearance!! I intend to contact the company and request a refund. Amazing Product

I ordered this by mistake. I just wanted the foundation which I got that as well but I am really glad I accidentally ordered this kit. I’m 64 and I have quite a few deep wrinkles in my face. I was skeptic because I tried tons of foundations and powders to my surprise. I sprayed on the primer and then I sprayed the foundation on the brush and I have to say this stuff is amazing. I did not hide all of my wrinkles, but my face looks as flawless as it could be for a 64-year-old woman I totally recommend this. I will definitely be buying this in the future for my face.
