I rarely write reviews. This is for a myriad of reasons, but today I had to go against that stance. I initially purchased this company's black soap. I enjoy charcoal/black soap. This soap, though it smelled wonderful and the packaging was absolutely adorable, it didn't work out for me. I didn't say anything -- I just went on with my life. I then received an email from the company about my satisfaction. You know, the customary ones that many times we just delete without reading. This time, I opened it. I read the email and decided to respond. I let the company know the issue I had with the black soap, and figured that would be it. Lo and behold, they responded, quite thoughtfully I may add, and then offered to allow me to try another scent/type. I agreed to that. Today, I open my mailbox, and not only did this company send a free soap, they sent an additional one as well for me to try out. Okay, let me make something perfectly clear. I am a soap lover and snob. I love rich, moisturizing soaps and my shower time is like an event for me to wake up in the morning, and unwind at the end of the day. I make an entire big deal about it - YouTube video or a bit of music, the lighting has to be just so and doors locked so that I am not disturbed. This soap is amazing. I could literally smell the soap in the box. It was not overpowering - but it was created with quality ingredients. I had not even ran them under water yet, and they were creamy. (Not crumbly) But it was more than obvious that these bars of soap are quite moisturizing. I am impressed with this company's response to their customers, and how they handle situations that require a bit more attention. I am impressed with the packaging, it's very cute and right up my alley, with a touch of edginess and 'new-age' feel that I tend to enjoy, and I am impressed that they even tossed in an additional soap for me to try along with a hand written note of gratitude. You read that right - HAND. WRITTEN. The penmanship was nice, too, but I digress. Anyway, this is how a company should do business. Because of how they handled this situation, not only will they have a repeat customer, I will be telling my friends and family about these soaps and more than likely, giving some out as gifts throughout the year. This is a company that makes quality products and knows how to treat their customers. Bravo. Thank you. P.S. This company did not ask me to leave a review. In fact, they did not ask me to do anything at all so this review is authentic and was not coerced.
