  • Lame cash grab by Hasbro
On the bad side. 1) Shrunk booster boxes from 36 packs to 30. 2) The flavor is lazy and rushed. Just throw iconic characters into a vehicle and call it a set. The third lazy set in a year (others are Murders at Karlov Manor and Outlaws of Thunder Junction). 3) Too many alternative art cards. They look bad. The all gold cards, yuck. The garbage pail looking cards, yikes. I just flat out don’t want these alternative art cards in my collection or in existence. You can’t recognize cards anymore. 4) Some of the mechanics are lame. Start your engines is lame. Exert is perfectly fine. Everything else is returning. 5) Too much power creep in this set and all the sets released recently. It just completely nullifies some of the most iconic game pieces in MTG history. On the good side. It’s still magic. It’s still fun to play. ... show more

  • Only 30 packs!?
WotC is effing with us again I didn't read the description because I buy a box of most standard releases for tournamesnt I run at school. These are 30 packs instead of the typical 36. I'm assuming this is the new WotC money grab. Play packs are annoying enough, cost more, but now this.

  • Inner box arrives unsealed and tampered with
Inner box arrives unsealed and tampered with. The outer box had seals and showed no signs of tampering. This has already been frequent with past purchases of products from the same brand; they arrive open or incomplete.

  • Fire the aetherdrift design team
Nobody wants to play these horrible sets. Stop making sets with cars and people playing guitars. Nobody wants to play transit mage as our all powerful creature. Fire whoever keeps making these sets because yall ain't gonna have jobs at the rate this is going everyone is quitting for sorcery tcg

  • Poor set, fewer packs.
Not only is the set generally unimpressive in terms of card quality/value, I am extremely disappointed in WOTC's decision to reduce the pack number by 6 (down to 30 from 36), making it unsuitable for 4 person drafting. This is the worst of all worlds in terms of the play/draft booster compromise. Don't recommend paying more than 100, given cruddy cards and fewer packs. ... show more

  • Aetherdrift? More like drift my aether to the next set
I've been play MtG for a few years now and this has been the worst set I've played. The mechanics are lackluster and very clunky, and really don'twork well with most other sets. If you are looking to buy this as a gift I'd suggest literally any other set.
