To create their potion, combine water with the included magical ingredients in the Potion Bottle. The potion will swirl and mix to become a deep dark blue color within the bottle. Then say the magic words, turn and press the Crystal Gem. Before their eyes the blue potion becomes clear, magically revealing Faye the Fairy Pixling inside the bottle! I ordered Amber the Dragon Pixling at a great price and she is a very pretty doll in person- moreover than some of the others that get way more promotions. My 4 year old neice lives looking at them but would have her head and outfit torn off in seconds so these are better for the older kids to enjoy playing. There is no smell. She had the same opening illusion as the others but I skipped all of that, it is easy to perform and has instructions, but I didnt need the show. I simply removed her from the two tubes and set her in the inner plastic until I could get a proper doll stand. Even through the plastic you can see her vibrant colours and cute features. There are no accessories to mention with this line of dolls and they each come dressed. My 6 year old is obsessed! She loves the magic of them appearing and the fun we have putting in the potions. I got this for her birthday so when our family was over and we all had fun watching the reveal. It's very easy to do and fun for us all. It can get a little messy but easy to clean up. I would recommend doing this on a tray and near a sink to open it. The doll is safely secured so it will not get wet with the water. The doll itself is great quality and although a little pricey, it's worth it for the experience and the quality. I love that they list what you are going to get because in the store it's a mystery (unless I am missing something) and my daughter has been starting to collect them.
