I haven't had these for long yet, but so far they are holding up extremely well. I haven't dishwashed them yet either, only hand washed. I'm using them for meal prep to bring lunches. They are so easy to clean, leak proof, look deceptively small - but actually hold a reasonable portion (so that's been great for an added bonus of portion control!). There's actually something very satisfying about filling these, and opening and closing the lid. These are so easy to use! It's definitely going to be a game changer on my diet and wallet, because I hate eating out at restaurants since the food I make has better quality ingredients and costs a lot less. I have put some of my leftovers in the fridge and some in the freezer. They work great for reheating in the microwave, and I recently got a Travelisimo electric lunch box, which I tried out today with one of these dishes in it and it worked very well to reheat it from frozen (45 min). ... show more

So far these have worked great in a house of 5 where we make a lot of home made meals and pack a lot of lunches. No chipping, no permeated smells, no leaking, just good quality product. The lids aren’t even brittle and are still shutting perfectly even after going through the bottom rack in the dishwasher. I think people don’t realize you have to push down a little before clamping to make sure it seals, but that to me is just common sense, lol. So far I highly recommend this. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Each glass bowl was securely placed in the box with Styrofoam sheets between bowls to prevent chipping/breaking.
