For sizing: I am 5'10, 195lb, with thick butt and legs and the 34's fit great. I bought these for snow shoeing and hiking in winter months. They feel warm and comfortable not too loud. I am 5’7” and weigh 155 wear a 29 womans pant and got the 32” waist in these. Glad I ordered up as they fit perfectly. Length is good. The rise is almost past my belly button which I thought was strange for a men’s pant, but they are comfortable.

I work outside and wearing thermals under regular pants got old. I’m around water and as soon as anything splashed, that’s a wrap on warmth. I figured at the price I had nothing to lose trying these out. I’ve had ZERO issues with them so far, a month of regular use. I even found my legs a little sweaty in 48° temps, surprisingly. They’re warm, clearly waterproof, and I plan on buying a few more pairs. Only thing of note is they run a tad big. If you’re on the fence, go ahead and do it.

These are well made and nice looking pants. I was trying to use them for skiing so the cuffs on the bottom are not wide enough to fit over my ski boots for a nice function. There is no zipper on the cuff to expand. But for General snow pants they are very cool and nice looking did not use them so don't know the function of water resistance
