I bought this as a gift for a friend and I cannot wait until he tells me how he loves it. I know he will! I'll update my post when I get his comments. What a great cool tool! I am thinking of getting one for my tool box. I know the magnets are strong because when I was trying to wrap it, the scissors kept sticking to the MagBand as I tried to cut the ribbon close to the package and I had to use some force to pull them off the gift! UPDATE 06.14.2016: I ordered one for my brother and he FLIPPED over it just like my friend from above did. I brought out a hammer & big plant trowel and it held both easily. They both were AMAZED. I told them if they had different sized screws or nails for a project, they could line up each size in different areas and they would be easy to access. Both my friend and my brother wore them home! (I gave them their gifts at my home.) Next, I need to get myself one...

This is between 3-3.5 stars. It's much better than the other one I purchased at the same time (Handy Band 00201 Magnetic Wrist Band) which isn't as strong, is difficult to put on and take off, and pinches my arm hairs. In contrast, this one goes on and off easily, doesn't pull on my hairs, and is slightly stronger. But it's still pretty weak, and it's bulky. That bulkiness is largely responsible for it being easier to use and not pulling on my hairs, because it prevents it from collapsing like the other one does, but I'm pretty sure it could be a lot slimmer and still accomplish that, and slimming it down would also slightly increase the magnetic strength. I plan to make my own so I can use my own magnets, or possibly remove the ones from this band and replace them. If they had used good quality bar magnets instead of the small (possibly good quality, not sure, but too small to matter) disc magnets they used (2 per section, 4 sections, 8 total) this could have easily been a 4-star product and probably even a 5-star one, and it would have been worth more. But I suppose that's the problem, because fewer people would buy it as they would go for the cheaper options.
